Good job. Now gun control is a very big issue. people get killed by them all the time sadly. But if america takes away guns and we get attacked by an enemy. How will we defend ourselves. but If we can defend ourselves, how can we stop people from killing other people. I personally don't take a stand on this topic because im 13 years old.

No civilian is going to stand a chance against a military trained combatant. They'll land 3 shots in your chest before you can even draw.
-
That's why we've been mired in the Middle East for a decade, right? Or is Al-Quaeda really the Spetznaz in disguise?
-
Totally yea guns get up a murder people on the streets, drive cars and shoot at houses and civilians
-
What a terrible argument.

I am awesome

Doesn't really seem like it.

Wow so rude, well here's a fact if you think you are awesome you are awesome, and I think I'm awesome
im 13 years old.
I can tell by your lack of common sense. Gun control and taking away guns are two different things. You ban automatic weapons, increase background checks, introduce psychological evaluations before purchase and require loaded guns to be locked up in your home. A lot of these rules are used in Canada and unlike the U.S where a mass shooting occurs every few months, we Canadians and also European countries have much lower gun crime rates.

What do you keep prattling on about this for?
-
I think the issue with automatic weapons at the moment is the gun show loophole.
-
No gun show loophole. Try again.
-
What loophole is that exactly?

Edited by Taskforcem85: 10/30/2015 9:12:05 PMSome gun shows are poorly regulated and sell guns to people without background checks. Me and a buddy went up to one in Kansas a couple of months ago, and he got a glock without any wait time or checks.

Edited by Miharu_Tansho: 10/30/2015 9:28:34 PMAny licensed dealer at a gun show will make you fill out a 4473 and call the NICS system for a background check. Are you sure you didn't miss that part or did he just buy it from a private party? Because if you're worried about citizens selling private property to each other the gun show has nothing to do with anything.
-
Guess it was just a citizen. I guess anyone can get their hands on a gun. Would anything point back to the original owner for selling the gun to another citizen? It seems odd that you can give someone else a gun and skip the background check basically meaning anyone can end up with a gun with no liability to the dealer.
