Weasel

I am sick and tired of being error coded on Destiny when the error is not my fault ! I get the error code "weasel" on countless times and everything its apparently "MY" connection ! Im sorry but i beg to differ , i play alot of games and dont have a single problem on any other game ! The amount of error codes and amount of people have these problems just goes to show that its not us that maybe its YOU that needs to sort it out bungie and get a back bone and sort this out before making us spend more money on a broke game !! I want a reply immediately to get this resolved on my account

  • Weasel is an error code that indicates general networking issues - your network is having difficulty maintaining a connection to the Bungie servers. I highly recommend taking some time to go through the Network Troubleshooting guide, and apply steps within: https://www.bungie.net/en/Support/Troubleshoot?oid=12915 Destiny certainly requires a strong and stable network connection, more so than even many other games, due to the nature of the game. The ability to connect to other games, does not mean that there aren't steps to be taken on your end that may improve your connection to Destiny. Give the guide a try!

Sorry to hear that, Jamie. Destiny is a shared-world shooter that requires a correctly configured and steady internet connection. To avoid losing connection to Destiny, and to ensure you can connect to other players in game, you may need to tweak your home networking setup. Destiny requires a high-speed, broadband internet connection to have the best possible experience. I recommend taking a look at the network troubleshooting guide to help get configured. If you can provide network statistics based on your console, I can try to help point you in the right direction. All the best.
