You can actually solo thalnok. You need the Telesto exotic. First, clear adds and kill the knight, and then put the sword next to the stairs. Next, use Telesto to take down the shield, and when u know that the shield's going down when the bullets explode, pick up the sword, run to thalnok, the bullets explode, shield's down and you hit thalnok. Repeat until thalnok's death.
With a 3 fireteam with telesto, the one with telesto is going to take care of the shield, the one of the two remaining with higher light uses the sword and the third is add clearer. If timed correctly with telesto bullets, one sword with 300 light should kill thalnok (6 hits)

I like my 332Telesto against Thalnok as well. Hammers his shield. I use Suros Regime with focus fire against everything else in Court

Thanks for the input. It's not the fight itself that I'm concerned with but the actual abuse from a fellow player preventing others from completing the fight because he/she took the Sword away to a place where we cannot easily retrieve and lose time on the kill. You only have 4 minutes to kill Thalnok. Can you afford to waste any dps time on chasing down the Sword that is not even in the court arena?

I was the one taking you away the sword so it could be more challenging since 6 sword hits can kill him (one only sword) XD Joking. I would have reported him right away like 4 times
