Your favorite Raid?
Just a small poll to see which raid is most favored.

Vog because of nostalgia But kingsfall has interesting mechanics

I prefer Crota's End because Crota and I are basically pals now. He got me my first Gjallerhorn a few months back. I owe something to the guy.

1 ReplyThe king's fall weapons are just a disappointment in comparison to those of vault of glass and even crota's end. Still a decent raid, but the weapons kill it.

I haven't completed the full KF raid yet but I've done parts and seen streams and watched clips of my friends doing it. I think the biggest difference in KF and VoG is complexity. They're both fun but in VoG Bungie found that golden zone between fun and intricacy. KF felt so complicated, with so much going on, and so many little nuances to get just right, that it actually becomes a chore. There were steps to completing VoG, and everyone had a job, but it was easy to play and learn while being able to make mistakes and not get exhausted. It took my friend damn near 10 minutes to explain the Golgoroth fight. That's too much. And there's so much going on, with such a small margin for error, that it stops being fun. Do I think it should be EASY, absolutely not. But encounters could be a little simplified to make it seem less like work and more like fun. It's a video game after all...

Kings Fall is the best raid they have made yet. The bosses, mechanics, and explorable locations far outshine VoG and CE. The rewards are a different story, but the raid itself is a piece of art.

Edited by AlTrio: 10/8/2015 5:10:39 AMDefinitely Vault, but King's Fall is fun too. Few parts felt unnecessary though and the rewards aren't terribly good from what I've seen. Some of the mechanics are neat though, massive improvement over CE imo. I also kind of miss having a relic of some sort. Shield was great, sword was the best part about CE, just holding a spark/shield thing doesn't really compare.

Kings fall. Its new and i think it is honestly fun to do. There are a lot pf mechanics to master and tons of secrets still undiscovered, especially that one room

KF and VoG are reeally close to eacother, but VoG wins because of the pure awesomeness of the relic. (aka a gorgon that Kabr punched repeatedly to mold it into a shield)

I think King's Fall is pretty rad outside the jumping....I enjoyed the few bosses, Oryx is a cool fight with changing mechanics. Crota was too simple. VoG is pretty cool, although I didn't do it much becsuse I started in February.
