Nintendo steps up to the plate in one hour

They are hold their Pre-E3 press conference at 9am PST. Let's see what they throw into the mix. Rumor is that they'll be showing video but not hardware. But then there was that "no thicker than 3 DVD cases" statement earlier this week. And, hey, what ever happened to Phantom?

 •
Posted by: Dominic24
According to IGN Nintendo Revolution will be approximately "two-to-three times more powerful than GameCube". This is quite modest compared to Xbox 360's 13-15 times, and PS3's 35 times improvemnt over the previous version. Nintendo, however, sees that it's not all about the technology.
Whoa, is that serious? Surely they won't need/use all that power.
When M$ demands Halo3 released by PS3's release, they want to make sure Bungie's got all the room in the world to run and rule with their game. Last time (H2) they were trying to (essentially) build a game bigger than it's console. Another thing: The Xbox and PS3 are not equals in terms of processing power. The Xbox is several times faster than the PS2, so I wouldn't start judging based on these (probably wrong) figures. As my Grandfather once said, "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics."
