Its a skinny spooky
He should have had a higher impact sniper...
-
I thought I was going to see a friendly npc outside of the tower. Disappointed
-
Personally I don't think that skeleton was Praedyths. He's talking about the Taken in that mission and your ghost says its centuries old. I don't know about you but I don't recall the Taken being in the solar system for centuries.

Edited by SpeirlingFearg: 10/24/2015 3:47:41 PMI'm impressed that he stripped naked, hid his gear, and died in a suitably stunning location.
-
He died forever alone
-
As you pick up the ghosts there's some dialogue where he says he's not really dead
-
Confused
-
I want it to open up anew quest, like the Dvalin relics did. No Time To Explain? I loved the use of the 3 "secret" paths through VoG, and how they made the Portal have a secret purpose. Loved it!
-
I feel it wraps it up but I feel bad there wasn't anything we could do to save him.
-
The skeleton in the room is prolly yours because you most likely died because some doucher on your fireteam got caught by a gorgon trying to get that chest.
-
It's delightfully mindbending.
-
I don't care, I just want the timepiece back.
-
Kind of unsatisfying. Of course, technically speaking Praedyth is still alive. Time travel is tricky. Him appearing properly in later DLC isn't outside the realms of possibility, he'd just have to get trapped again. Causality and all that.
-
I think that what happened to Kabr (absorbtion into vex network ) may have happend to praedyth as well, and when the Vex were being attacked in the vault by the taken, sensing their own danger the Vex allowed him to make contact with us . In order to fight the taken . I think that's why the Vex don't attack us when we approach the vault in that level initially at the entrance . And so when we finally clear the taken from the vault , their danger having passed they trap him back into their network again and that's why he goes silent again. That's just what I thought and felt was going on in that mission
-
So let me get this staight... I can be dead for hundreds of years and a ghost can come along and revive me. But when we find this body of a former guardian, (that still has a little light left in him) we can't get another ghost down there to bring him back???
-
Based on the alternate end of that mission, I'm inclined to think he's still alive. If that's the case, I imagine we'll find him at some point. If his first words are anything but "This was a triumph.", I'm going to be disappointed.
-
I'm starting to believe the theory that he is alive. His Grimoire in Mysteries tells that he is locked in some prison, transmitting messages every time a window opens. Not a skeleton. However with the Vault, time isn't strictly a linear progression of cause to effect anymore. It's more a wibbly wobbly ball of timey wimey......stuff.
-
Cheap. But what should I expect? Bungie have sunked deeper than the mariana trench
-
The no time to explain's description reads "soon" which indicates to me that the stranger will see us again soon, as she was the one who sent us the weapon she knows about preadeth so in my eyes if there is a vex dlc on the way that it will be about the stranger, preadeth and a new vex overlord (or God). Just my opinion though
-
Considering his fate was me teabagging his corpse, I don't feel too bad about it.
-
Sucks dick
-
It's actually a big ball of wibbely wobbely timey wimey... stuff.
-
Why the hell did he skip Templar?
-
I bet we'll seen more if Kabr and Praedyth. The FWC will probably let us go back in time and go on the team.
-
Yeah he is just trapped not dead. Probably like toland is trapped in the hive netherworld and exists in some vex system.
