Sucks to be you.

Was he an exo because it says on the grimoire that it took him years to set up the transmitter and another year to get it broadcasting sooooo what did he eat?

:^( >mfw the Queen is dead >mfw Praedyth had a badass story behind him and he is also dead >mfw Destiny is just like Praedyth

Still alive

Edited by Master Rahool: 10/8/2015 3:18:28 AMHe is locked inside and outside of time. he is infinitely dying and living. He is a living PARADOX (and yet a dead one). We saw a infinitely smaller fraction of time In our visit only to find him dead, next time we enter he might be at the door waiting for us.
deepest piece of lore out there
And theoretically we should still be able to save every guardian who was lost in the vault by studying the vex more.

I feel like we haven't seen the end of this character.

Sad, really sad
-
I think bungie leaves far too many significant characters dead. Too bad really.
-
I was sad. I thought for a moment, we could have saved him. But who could escape the grasp of time?
-
He's still alive if you read the grimoire I bet in the next vex dlc we will save him
-
It's ok. He left me his gun
-
When you enter the Vault for that mission, you hear Praedyth speaking to you right now. The Taken that you miss (that show up in the daily) kill Praedyth in the future, leaving his bones to sit for centuries until you discover them. If you play it as the daily and kill all the Taken in the Vault, Praedyth still lives, trapped in his cell
-
Praedyth never died. He keeps talking when you complete the alt. ending to Paradox as a daily. He's stuck in time. Like limbo for Inception
-
When I first played the mission i was like HOLY CRAP!! WE ACTUALLY GET TO MEET SOMEONE NEW!!! Finished the story feeling hyped as ever, walked into the room where he supposedly was, only to find that like every other character that is not an enemy, person in the tower or reef, he was dead. Bummer, complete, bummer. Classic Bungie
-
The ending left me depressed. He's my favorite!!
-
There is rumors out there that Kybr or however you spell that is also alive trapped someplace in a different time in the VOG that we have yet to experience as players. The VOG and it time paradox nonsense could lead us to rescuing Preydath (or however you spell his name) and we could take him to see his own bones, the possibilities are endless!

"I live, I die, I live again"
-
He's probably osiris
-
I didn't feel anything tbh
-
Someone fill me in
-
I felt hollow, and that there was no victory with Praedyth dead. His last words only made me feel worse ;_;
-
It was such a lame ending, after all the setup and mystery over the first year. Part of the fire team that entered the vault and paved the way for future guardians to survive it. Possibly wiped from existence. Left behind a badass sniper rifle (and my very first vault weapon drop). And all you find is his skeleton lying in front of a rock, with some audio and a ghost somewhere else. So disappointing.

Was he a Hunter?
-
Thinking about how he went is actually pretty sad. Being locked down there for however long.
