To be fair, it was a pre order bonus. Just some free stuff. You didn't pay like an extra $20 for some green guns.
Also, it was probably for brand new players, seeing as how the legendary edition gives you EVERYTHING in Destiny, attracting and welcoming newcomers. Those guns are probably pretty sweet for them.
Like you said, you already have better guns anyway. If you paid extra for it I'd understand your anger, but considering it was just thrown in for free it's like "ah whatever".

Ok, granted yes they were semi free(still pay glimmer) the Suro's promo I believe was not just intended for new comers, cuz they pushed it on their streams that they looked cool and all which those who watched were already yr 1 players. Heck, let's say you did start playing right this very moments. Your very 1st engrams drops & weapons are even higher then theses guns. So wether you are a new player or not is really a mute point

It was bundled with a legendary shader and emblem, so it didn't make much sense for that to be paired up with uncommon tier weapons. But like I said, oh well. You have better guns still, and there will be plenty of badass guns later to the point that they'll be way better even if the suros stuff [i]was[/i] decent, so you wouldn't be using them anyway.
