Wedding ideas?
k so to start i didn't know where to put this so i just put it here, but the story goes me and my Girlfriend are hoping to get married pretty soon, we've been together for 5 years (since we were 13) and i understand that getting married early is not recommended but nobody tells me how to live my life so i'm doing it anyway, but we wanted to do a geek wedding and i am torn between a Kingdom Hearts wedding and a Destiny wedding, however i want to plan both out and decide after all the planning is done, so we already agreed to dress as our guardians (Titan = Me, Warlock = Her) but that is as far as we have gotten, i wanted ideas on who should the justice be (because we aren't religious so we aren't getting a priest) as well as decor, music, and even grooms and brides maids dress code. basically anything i can put a Destiny theme on i want you guys to help me decide lol, so suggestions away i'm going to keep pondering on my side as well. thanks ahead of time :D !

have your guests dress as guardians and have your best friends go as crota, atheon, skolas, oryx, the queen, petra, variks, etc. have the wedding set to be like the tower or somthing

Instead of flowers on the guest tables, have an arrangement of the different planet materials on each table (one table has spirit bloom, one has spin metal, relic iron, helium coils)

Lol So here's my ideas [spoiler]somebody dressed as the speaker for priest or shax[/spoiler] [spoiler]custom ring to resemble a ghost[/spoiler] [spoiler]Easter egg location for wedding perhaps loot save or other popular areas[/spoiler] Theme music of course

2 RepliesI dunno doggy your call, you can have a Destiny wedding theme then a Kingdom Hearts divorce theme maybe... WTF do I know though *shrug* JK good luck bud, I got married at 24 been with my wife like 6 years now, there's days where I'm like "Yep! This bitch is a dank ass life partner!" And there are days where I'm like "I'm gonna hit her in the head with a shovel and burry the body somewhere!". That's marriage basically for ya... Also my wife and I knew each other when we were kids, and met again like a decade later at a bar, I was bouncing and she came in with some friends and we hit it off. Anyway my advice when it comes to your question for reals has to do with what kind of wedding venue you're planing, are you inviting family, friends, seating, space, number of guests and so on. It's easy enough to get Destiny themed decorations I suppose, you can hire decorators to figure it out... Either way unless you're getting married at a courthouse or have no family or its a super small wedding you're looking at around $20,000 that's like average wedding price right there. I dunno dude good luck, may the force be with you.

Your minister should dress as the Speaker and your cake should be designed like the map with the cake topper being you guys playing destiny.

Do a destiny wedding, the cake would look so cool all space theme looking with like 2 ghosts as a topper. Then have everyone at your wedding dress as their guardians (I'll totally go as my titan) I think it'd look epic and your girlfriend would be in chatter white and you in the hanged man shader. This has real potential. Music I'm not so sure about heh

1 ReplyI had some friends that did a zelda/pagan wedding and it turned out very nice, alot nicer on the pocket book, and the groomsmen and bridesmaids looked very nice and didn't get stuffed into some wierd Sci fi action suit that was uncomfortable for the whole wedding /reception and all! Also do what your lady would like, it's really her special day!
