well since i guess i dont know much fine but i know this mostly all the other ships in star treck are killed by stupid little things like misplaced wepons fire or a shot to the engines and it is always the main ship that survives not normaly any others and then theres halo which actuly has main charachters as casualtys and ships even though they are apparently "weak" can still survive being rammed and shot alot but i still say halo would win

Q has the ability to leave the standard Star Trek universe and go to any other, as witnessed by one of the books. He is omnipotent, he controls everything, it's like saying Halo's won't work on Star Trek 'cos they're from a different universe. Also, Federation phasers are some of the weaker weapons, Romulan disruptors or Borg weapons would be far more powerful. On the Borg, they carve up planets for fuel. I doubt they would have any problem causing supernovas, black holes or anything else in the way of stellar destruction. . . Seeing as how Spock can make a black hole with one drop of Red Matter.

ALSO: Q is the only god to have directly interfered with Startrek, and seeing as how Halo has no mentioned Gods that actively participate in the universe, they cannot be called upon. Q on the other hand is an established and involved part of Startrek. On another note, the precursors are theoretical, having almost nothing to substantiate their existence or power, and they may have very little interest in involving themselves in wars. But seeing as using beings of unknown power and unestablished ability, I would now call upon the tens of thousands of species from the future of the federation, after it develops intergalactic drive.
