We're an active social group of people, all from varied walks in life and ages. When TTK launches I will be starting a second group from the primary clan Alliterate Soldiers. Everyone will be able to join Alliterate Soldiers as a group member and use the group wall to ask for help, or just talk to, any member in the group. But due to the 100 member clan limit I'll be asking people to sign up to the second group who want a clan tag, but still have the same level of organisation and compete in the same events and activities. Think of it as an extension and not a seperate group! As of yet the clan name for the second group is still being voted on by the current members, it will go live on 15th Sept. Alliterate Soldiers is a mature members clan, there are the odd one or two players under 18. For anyone who isn't mature and/or under the age of 21, there is a seperate group/Clan which I've set up called Illiterate Soldiers, which you can join up with. All clans will be actively engaged in one or two specific events a week, one is PvE and the other is PvP. Take a look at www.destinyclanwars.com for mote information on current and previous clan events. We have regular raid Teams, these are split up on days and times to accommodate members that are either in different time zones, or play at different times. We have currently 9 raid Teams to choose from to be a regular raid member with or as a substitute, there is a post in our clan forum on Alliterate Soldiers for more information about these. We use groupme app to talk to each other, this helps us keep an active community, Active. With this free app (available on smartphone, tablet and laptop/desktop) members can organise fireteams for activities, jump into other people's fireteams who need extra guns and just casual chit chat and banter. A seperate groupme chat room is opened for every raid team to help them organise the groups to band together for when it's raid time, and for every clan will have a seperate main chat room to stay in touch with your clan mates. Due room size limit in the app, we will still have to use the main Alliterate Soldiers wall group post to talk to all group members, and for those that don't have a smart phone and laptop. We have a dedicated group of admins, each playing different roles and these help keep the clan flowing, without their time and dedication to help out the clan would simply not be as great as it is now. Please take a look at the new members post and add the admins listed there! And most of all, once you do sign up, make sure you add me too! Myself and the admins will try and invite new members to join us in event activities too meet and play with other members you've never met before. There is a one month probation period on all new clan members (group members aren't under the same scrutiny or expected to be as Active). It helps us decide if you are the right kind of person to be a member of the clan.
