Weekly What's Update
Here we are at the end of another fun-filled week. New matchmaking playlists, new maps, it was crazy, that's for sure. This week, a wee bit of news about the new maps. Including screens. Because we love you.

all the updates on halo 2 are great and everything, but one thing dealing w/ plasma pistols. i think ya'll should just get rid of them premanetly or however you spell that. they're cheap and ppl abuse them. i cant believe that gun can even take out someone w/ a full health + shield. maybe its just me but i think plasmas suck.

The new maps sound like they will be alot of fun but i want to know when they are coming out? Containment, Warlock, Turf, and Sancuary we're loads of fun i spent hours playing them as soon as i downloaded them and i can't wait for the other new maps to come out. i dont like what yall did to the rumble pit playlist... that was my favorite playlist untill yall did that now its just -blam!- there are too many objective games ... i dont like objective games very much... when i play rumble pit im just looking to have an intense game of everybody versus everybody slayer...now i hate it and the stupid covenatnt slayer is pretty -blam!- too... so all i can really play now is team slayer ...

relic is the one map from halo1 with the island.. i think it was called death island.. backwash is from halo 1 campaign.. elongation is from halo1 map longest.. it says that gemini has twisty corridors and lots of teleports... that sounds like chiron tl 34 from halo 1... terminal is a map from halo1 also... all old stuff bungie.. how about coming up with something new for a change huh? containment and warlock are from halo 1 also= sidewinder and wizard. i cant believe copying all the maps took u guys so long. anyways.... like the other dude said.. rumble pit is so stupid now.. it used to be good. theres so many objective games which dont take skill... oddball and king of the hill and all that.. so stupid..... putting wraiths on burial mounds was a freaking disaster!!!!!! the team on offense always gets the stupid wraith and keeps shooting through the space where the turret is and everyone dies.. so stupid.. bungie didnt u guys notice that taking away " the combo" makes the people who have power weapons(shotgun,sword,rocket,sniper) even stronger? u guys know the stupidest thing ever? ok.. having a banshee on team rifles on ascension... omfg!!! u put 1000000000 br bullets into it and it doesnt go down.. and he just goes around killing everyone. u guys just dont like plasma pistols because u get owned by them.. if you dont have it then shotgun sword rocket and sniper people will own everyone and theres nothing you can do about it. i think its good that it takes out overshield.. overshield is for losers who cant kill anyone without having an advantage. When i first got Halo 2 (waaay before StandBy was even known about) i lagged out during the beggining of a CTF round on Zanzibar and with my ghost drove right in through the closed gate (on my screen there was no gate, just a huge missing section in the wall) and everyone was like 'wooh dude, that guy went right through the f***ing gate!' but of course now people would say, 'STANDBY, F**KING STANDBY' :P Anyway, i heard about the new maps on the N-Gage forums but thought it was absolute BS but it turns out they were true! It's going to be f***ing sweet! They should release the maps earlier on LIVE for us to download like with the 4 maps.

Question #1: Is there any chance that we may see 16-player Slayer playlist? Personally I think these would be frantic, heart-pounding fun on maps like Colossus, Headlong and Containment. I was hoping to hear that about the clasic halo maps being released. I know that me and thousands of others would love to see: "Hand em High", "Rat Race", and "Training Grounds" return. Secondly the vehicles need to be fixed. I was driving the warthog with an overshield and it took almost 5 rockets to blown me and the hog up. Secondly if new vehicles are in the making, either for halo 2 or 3, they should all have a sweet spot like the ghost.

i dont know about everyone one else but right now it is sucking to have been a fairly fought 12. me and my firends which are simialry ranked have been gettin slaughted by former 20's. it starting to push me away from the game. In addition there has been alot more jerks on as well.Trash talking is well,but wayto many people haveto takeit tothe next level.
