Weekly What's Update
Here we are at the end of another fun-filled week. New matchmaking playlists, new maps, it was crazy, that's for sure. This week, a wee bit of news about the new maps. Including screens. Because we love you.

Bungie..Please add the FUEL ROD GUN! I think that would be great! Even if U just added it for an option in the custom games..Fuel Rod Gun games would be extremely fun! Oh and one more thing..I think the plasma pistol should not be in any double team games..Matter of fact, I wouldn't mind if Bungie got rid of the plasma pistol completely..Does anyone else agree?

Hey is this the place to ask questions that get answerd on the "Weekly What's Update"? If so i have a question.. or maby one of you guys could tell me the answer! I was just watching over the Halo 2 Trailers. I've just finished watching the E3 2003 trailer... now why wasn't that level in the game. I mean it looks amazing! You know the one where at the end cortonal says: "Bet you can't stick it"... I recognised a few lines from the game "The CP's this way" "The LT got hit as soon as we dropped in" "Grid Kilo 2 is hot" and so on... Or maby we get to go back to Earth in Halo 3..! :D Plus can any one tell me: I have a friend on XL yeah. And it seems that we can never join each others game unless some one else invites the one or other in. I have no idea why this only happens with just the one guy... Any help would be great thanks!

I got the update on thursday along with most other people and it was playing fine with no lag at all. It is now saturday and i cant even scoll down my friends list without it laging. Iv played about 20 games in a row now that i cant iven get out of the first room because its so bad. Does anyone know if this is a problem with my connection or its natural to happen a couple days after the updates??

hi, this is my first reply, but still, you guys said you'll fix the noob combo, plasma pistol and battle rifle, but it seems that you guys didnt fix that combo, so me and my friend were pissed because these two guys literally beat us badly just because they were using that dumb combo, i hope u fix the plasma pistol soon cause its just too strong.

Backwash looks like something out of Brute Force (yeah, admit it, you played it and liked it) Looks cool. Relic looks like a neat map. I like the sound of four of the five, but i never liked longest. Still 4/5 = 80%. Very good.

hey first time here so hey anyway me and my clan do mostly 1 thing and that is tricks and glitches but a few guys said that the updates will make it impossible to do glitches like swordcancel up headlong and those maps so can we still do glitches and tricks when we get the new maps or do we just have to play the old ones till we die?

Any help would be great thanks![/quote] That version was made quickly just as a trailer, its way to laggy and faulty for real use, it completely seperate, apart from the arcitecture and some cutscenes from Outskirts, and Metropolitis

Dearest Frankie, I appologize if this is not where I am suppose to write this question at for the weekly what's update, but I don't know where else to do it. Here is my problem: I have been playing on Live for the past couple days, and it works perfectly for the first say 5 matches that I play. Then usually the 6th or 7th match, the game goes into the "blue screen of death" where it tells you that it is "reccnnecting to session" and "setting up game" and such. Usually this signals that someone or the host has just quit. Unfortunately for me, it appears that I am the one that has quit, although it says that everyone else has. So when the game loads back up after the "blue screen" it says that I have won because everyone else has quit. I know that this is untrue because I have checked those games on Bungie.net and it says that I am getting last in each one of those games. So a couple questions: 1.) Do you have any suggestions to how to fix this problem 2.) If bungie.net says that I am getting last, but the game says I am getting first, what is it doing to my rank? 3.) Is there anyway that I can not abandon the people who's team I was on so that they wouldn't have to play a person short? or at least send them a card or something?? I hate when people quit out on me, and I feel really bad for doing it to other people even though I am not doing it intentionally. Please reply to this in a thread or on the next what's update. I thought ya fixed the cheats. what about "stairway to heaven" It was used aginst me so i reported them for cheating. But my buddy says that it won't matter, that theres to many people playing and that xbox or bungie won't pay to effectivly monitor it so whats the point. Why can't you post the names of people that are banned so that people know their reporting of cheating does have an effect. I just wanna play a fair game.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, PLEASE TAKE THE BANSHEE OUT OF TEAM RIFLES ON ASCENSION. NOW THAT THE ROCKET LAUNCHER AND THE SMG'S ARE GONE, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO KILL THE BANSHEE. THE LEVEL HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RUINED AS THE FIRST TEAM TO GET THE BANSHEE AUTOMATICALLY WINS.

the update with the new playlists were good, but there were some bad things. the battle rifle being tweaked really has affected team slayer in warlock. every time i do double team and get team slayer warlock, i get camped and can't stay alive for more than 20 seconds. please bungie, un-tweak the battle rifle, and make it like it was originally-less acurate.

Also i cant seem to hear some of the peole on my friends list.. when they talk it's really choppy. Im from Wales so i don't know if it's because were not really on a good connection or if its just packet loss?
