Weekly What's Update
Here we are at the end of another fun-filled week. New matchmaking playlists, new maps, it was crazy, that's for sure. This week, a wee bit of news about the new maps. Including screens. Because we love you.

Wicked, those new maps look awesome, i cant wait till either i get xbox live, or that update disc comes out. Halo 2 is my favourite game ever, Good to see it updating

Bungie..Please add the FUEL ROD GUN! I think that would be great! Even if U just added it for an option in the custom games..Fuel Rod Gun games would be extremely fun!

Oh and one more thing..I think the plasma pistol should not be in any double team games..Matter of fact, I wouldn't mind if Bungie got rid of the plasma pistol completely..Does anyone else agree? [Edited on 5/7/2005]

Is there some way to feedback for people who are just intentionally committing suicide, or not playing at all? My friend and I play team slayer and have notice alot of people who are on our team will either just run in and let the other team kill, not play, or commit intentional suicide. I don't really put this under the same category as cheating but there is no other feedback that sounds appropriate for this situation. Another thing is people who leave the game during a team slayer match. I believe there should be a penalty for these people who most often are causing their team to lose.

The updates are cool and the new maps are awesome, but people are still abusing that pathetic plasma pistol, BR combo. That and the super jumps.

Hey all I just wanted to know something. I live in Australia and I am desperate to get these maps. Im hoping it will be in Oz but I dont want to have to export one from the states. I cant get Live either, so dont tell me to try that. COuld anyone with some info send me a private message. any help appreciated

At least make it an optional weapon to include? So that you can choose to have it in but the default map doesnt?

i was wondering, for all the "less" fortunate who dont have oxm, when the new maps (relic, backwash, etc etc) will be available for downloading, and how much will these cost. and did you guys re-redo the grenades, because ive been using them like hell and they seem to have lost power again. the grenades in the first halo were exceptional. anyways if ya could get back to us "little" people we would appreciate it. thanks TheKingCole

The changes to team slayer are really disturbing. You guys at Bungie have really ruined, in my opinion, Beaver Creek, Burial Mounds Coagulation and Colossus. Staring everyone off with Battle rifles takes away everything that's really fun in Halo. There's no real hand to hand combat, beat downs and assasinations anymore. Each team just sits on one side and shoots at each other with their little BR's, its no fun, especially for people who don't really like the BR. In essence its like everone has a sniper rifle, which is annoyning enough already on Burial Mounds when teams grab both snipers and sit. But now, if a team has both snipers, their almost unstoppable, it's pretty stupid if you ask me and if you ask the majority of players as i have tried to. I understand the combo you tried to rid, but that could have been solved by taking out the plasma pistol only. I think you've just made it worse with everyone having BR's. If 2 people are shooting at you with BR's, you die just as quick as the combo. It just looks like you guys cater to the experts who want their favorite weapons to start off with or have your own selfish desires. I like the BR personally, every once in awhile, but not all the time the entire game, its really no fun. I think you'll find more people who feel like i do than you will who disagree, and i'm not trying to be rude i just felt i should at least say something. You guys will probably make some smart ass remark back like "you don't like the changes, too bad, we're god, or don't play." Which is quite rude, I've read a few of your responses before to people who don't bow down at your feet, their not the most pleasant. The game itself was fine before is all i'm saying, the only real problem was the f%$^@!& cheaters, and you're fixing that every day. There's a great saying that fits this situation, "if it aint broke don't fix it." There's a reason this is the best game ever.

Yesterday i got standbyed, and the other team won. after this mach i went up a level. "What?!". Is this a part from the updates.

Great update, Frankie! I hate people like M1STER NICE that just are jerks. When will the second installment of content release? I think i read somewhere that they are coming on June 28, but i'm not sure. Thanks again for the update! Peace.

cool weekly update. But i hope that in Backwash or what ever map has penitant tangent, i hope he doesnt hum as much as 343 Guilty Spark did on The Library in Halo. That was so annoying.....

haha....especially on legendary when there's about 500 flood chasing you around and you have 2 shotgun shells left...and guilty spark is ineffectively helping you by telling you that you brought such louzy weapons...will backwash have creepy flood noises in the shadows? that would probably make the level soooooo much cooler
