Weekly What's Update
Here we are at the end of another fun-filled week. New matchmaking playlists, new maps, it was crazy, that's for sure. This week, a wee bit of news about the new maps. Including screens. Because we love you.

when do they become free for the people that have xbox live cause my mom said i cant buy them so i am waiting for them all to be free to get them.

When are the new maps coming out? And does anyone know if the new maps that you will have to pay for will be put into the team preview? Does anyone else only start with one grenade on big team battles? and how come it is still possible to jump onto the roof of the base on zanzibar? it gets on my nerves when people do that just stand up there and snipe.

SWEET!! relic looks great. not too pumped about shooting in fog tho (in the other map). It seems like my level is moving up much faster than it used to. Did u guys make it easier to move up or something? If i used to be a level 13, what would my level be with the new level settings? 17? above 20? or just the same? When are these maps coming out anyway? is it june 28 for everyone, or do the maps come out ahead of time for live owners? Are there any maps that we have to pay for? plz say no. and finally, will team preview live on for the new maps, and if so, will our ranks and levels stay the same on team preview for the new maps? Hey i was playing some CTF on lockout, and we got the flag in that room above the green room (where the shot gun spawns), and when the flag carrier died and i went to get the flag again, we couldnt pick it up. After about 5 minutes of trying to pick up the damn flag, the other team and our team agreed to just let the flag go uncontested. We also agreed that the other team would have to pass up their turn because we passed up ours. What is the deal with the flag? Has any one else ever had problems with the flag before? its the first time this has happened to me *we won the game 1-0, and i had 47 kills and 11 deaths :) [Edited on 5/7/2005]

Bungie, thanks for the update. Question: When we're playing multiplayer, and we get a message on the screen that says "so and so betrayed you, press X to boot them from the game" - is there any way of telling us at that moment HOW MANY times that player has betrayed somebody? I mean, twice is understandable (if we're caught in the crossfire or I walk into a grenade-fest) - but I'd really like to know if this player has already betrayed my teammates 4-5 times. As a general rule I don't boot anybody unless they REALLY piss me off. Which, since I'm typing on the bookroom computer at San Quentin, is...oh dang, times up! I'll check this post NEXT WEEK to see if you've made any progress. Alright? Gosh I've only got 243 more days and I'm OUT...
