Matchmaking Update!
Tomorrow, Wednesday May 4th, we'll be updating the matchmaking playlists to inlcude the new maps, and resetting stats to even the playing field. Read on to find out more details about what to expect.

My Ranking was reset twice!!! once when I got on, then another when I hit lvl 6 in Rumble Pit, Someone tell me whats going on???

I DON'T HAVE IT HERE!!!, I HAVE IT AT MY DADS!!!, I'll be playing with REAL lvl 1's when i play... STOP UR BITSHEN!! I am gonna FREAK! ok... i have played the new 2v2 on lockout ctf and that was the -blam!-ist gaes ever. the others r fine but that was the first time i played 2v2. O ya one of my friends has a great idea...have smoke granades. i mean think about it throw a couple sg (smoke granades) in the top of the base on coag then drop in and plant the bomb of grab the flag. it could go the othe way to throw a couple sg's in and then -blam!- the intruders. and they wouldn't know what hit them. \ / ) (O.o) (> <) /_||_\

yo, this is still cool tho. at least bungie is updating the game. i have plenty of games that say "downloadable content" and they dont have -blam!-, and pronounce they never will. maybe they could have done better with the whole battle rifle crap. but at least bungie is doing needed and wanted updates to the game. I dont know about you, but i think that halo: CE helped the xbox come to what it is now. when people bought an xbox, they bought Halo and extra controllers (at least i did) and now they have furthered their role in the xbox with Halo 2. Because of Bungie and their contributions to the xbox, there have been a spike in sales above what would be if these games did not exist. Many people have gripes and complaints about the games, and i will say that i dont totally disagree with you. but please, quitcher-blam!-in and just play the game that is halo 2. i know that many of us are die hard fans of bungie and halo (..me..) and then there are those that dont appreciate everything that goes into making the game, not to mention the constant update of the game, its playlists, its scoring, post game carnage reports, and post game overviews offered on this site. It takes a lot of effort to keep all these things moving forward and smooth. we payed 50 bucks for a game that is constantly evolving and changing at our every request to better suit US.. All i know is that bungie exceeds my expectations as a game developer. Thanks Bungie, you have gathered quite a following due to this. -oh, and if anyone wants to get served, holla back. Dark 1 4 life out.

it sounds cool but for some reason i can only play double team right now and team skirmish and all the other things cant find any damn games

You guys are brilliant, can't way to start from scratch, erase all those BS games, but people are already like level 20 again it's crazy.

Yo bungie, now we're playing with people of a much higher level, but we dont' know. Also is a living hell to find a player as good as me to play and have fun playing, but now we play with levels 1 2 3 but they are really levels 16 17 18 19 and who knows what more. It SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This autoupdate is not so bad but sometimes when you win sooo much bungie wants to keep it even and so you level down for no apparent reason. The game types are built on strategy so you have to actually be good to win these 2v2 games. Quit wining about the games since your not good. I would like to know how come me and my friends level down. Oh and if you don't believe me check my stats. It will say 0 losses.

Ok, now that the new update has come out my friends and I have been playing double team furiously. I leveled myself up to 3 (not hard I know) and mysteriously I leveled back down to 1. I have yet to lose a game also. Not to mention, my friend Runinboys was a level 13 in DT and also after a win, he leveled down to a 3. Still not done. Ryota25 (another friend) was playing with me and we leveled up to 7, and the next game we won, I leveled up to an 8 and he leveled down to a 1. Now, I ask Bungie, what the hell is going on?!!?

Ok I love the new matchmaking but why would you touch the stats, in my opinion is stupid to reset the stats because now you will fight with people with a higher leve( even if it does not shows it) and thats not fair to people who is a beginner and has to play with a pro. I think that the stats should have been left alone for good.

All I care about is when bungie is gonna -blam!- stop reseting stats of those they've already reset. I thought bungie had stopped that by now so I played Double Team, getting up to lv.8, and about to go onto 9. I annihalate a team so badly they quit(king of the hill at Ascension I had a sniper >_>), and what do I see? A nice level 1. Thanks Bungie. I'm just concerned because of the 3 hour period of time I played that they reset noones stats that I know of. Damn bungie, could at least make it so if I lose a match I go to lv. 27 ;)

I think bungie did mess up big time because u can't now do any sniping on this game. I was trying to snipe on beaver creek and all of a sudden i have 3 guys shooting battle rifles at me and i cant shoot the guy i was aiming at and that just really sucks.

So how much is MLG paying you guys to screw with the game like this? I just played "Battle Rifles" on Colossus and it completely takes the strategy out of it. It used to be a "get the sniper, hold the sniper" game...now it's just "who cares about the sniper everyone has a battle rifle."

BUNGIE MESSED UP BIG TIME This has got to be the worst autoupdate EVER!!!!! Double team has terrible gametypes. I played 2 games of oddball on warlock and a capture the flag. IN THE TIME IT TAKES TO RESPAWN THE OTHER TEAM CAN SCORE A POINT. I played 4 games and turned off my xbox because they were soooooo bad. I can't stand it. And whay is it that some people still have their old stats. Over 20 of my friends still have their old ranks. I seriously doubt that they could play 1500 team slayer games in 8 hours. WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!!!!

THE UPDATES ARE KILLING EVERYONE Whos not a Battle Rifle wiz and the fact that im paying every month to get my Butt kicked by guys who spend their whole life playin this game is ridiculous.....ME AND MY FRIENDS WILL BE CANCELING SUBSCRIPTIONS......I Can Understand fixing the cheaters and i appreciate that and the battle rifle combo was getting annoyin in places....BUT youve made it impossible for anyone who plays for recreation and doesnt play it religiously to have any fun playing this game THANKS BUNGIE [Edited on 5/4/2005]

I do agree with taking it out on colossus and battle creek is strething it. Yes, you should get slayer at least 3/4 of the time as skirmish with only 4 ppl is kind of lame!

BUNGIE WTf u disapoint me wat is this -blam!- human br slayer is -blam!- u guys shoulda left evrything how it was alot of me and my friends and other peeps have complained about the grenades and pistol and melee HALO 2 has suddenly turned -blam!- for real y didnt u just leave it alone wat is that -blam!- crap i played team preview its only old maps bungie y did u take out the banshee its very useful in may games the assult thing same thing happend to me i was almost done planting and then it says ROUND OVER the -blam!- people who complained about the "NOOB" combo should try to use it then cry like a f ucking b itch deal with it u guys suck bungie u messed up halo2 if u mees up halo 3 (if it comes out) dont fuc k it up ok? k so the update i didnt like at all!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE THE NEW PLAYLISTS AND THE NEW MATCHMAKING GREAT JOB BUNGIE!!!! And im soooooo glad that the noob combo (Plasma pistol/Battle rifle/Covie battle rifle(i forgot the name of) has been removed im glad. But..... its still in other lvls. Bungie u need to take it out of ALL LVLS! including in head to head and all matchmaking! it is soooo ridiculous how many ppl use it. I get owned by it everytime. just played double team and got owned 30-12 cuz all the other team used was noob combo and sword on midship. All in all great job again bungie and keep up the gr8 work ; p
