Matchmaking Update!
Tomorrow, Wednesday May 4th, we'll be updating the matchmaking playlists to inlcude the new maps, and resetting stats to even the playing field. Read on to find out more details about what to expect.

After playing the updated version i can only complain about a few things. The main thing is the removal of sudden death in assults. I never had a problem defending a sudden death match but now near the end of a round I clear the base, walk in with bomb, and while i'm arming it i run out of time. Its very annoying. I felt that assult was fine the way it was. The only other thing i find annoying is that the radar is gone in head to head. I THRIVE on using the radar in all games. (but i'll get over it) Other than that, great job with the updates. (Thank you for no more phantoms =D )

I'm not trying to put anyone down, I just think there could have been some better decisions made.[/quote] The problem with the combo is that it's like having a rocket launcher or a sniper rifle, it acts as a power weapon, and it is devastating. Now, I don't mind the combo at all, I think it helps balance the game in a lot of ways- BUT- on maps like Colossus and Beaver Creek, there were so many that it was like having 4 rocket launchers to a team, which gets pretty ridiculous, and not too fun. I think Beaver Creek is much more enjoyable to play now because of the changes.

THE POINT OF PLAYING HALO 2 ONLINE IS TO HAVE FUN! NOT TO STRESS OVER LOSING YOUR STAT.

Ok.....why is it that not only are there old maps in the Team Preview....there are almost nothing BUT old maps in Team Preview. How is that "Heavily Weighted" toward the new maps? I haven't played a single game in it yet that was a new map. And the people I talked to said that they had only seen Warlock. That would be fine, but isn't Team Preview supposed to be for people who payed to "get a head start" according to the description in the pregame loby? Some head start. The people I have talked with agree that that playlist isn't very well done.

hey frankie can you send me a message to tell me why bungie reset the ranks and pepole can still get on top of cuntament and that happened to me today and the kid dident get suspended or booted from LIVE so can you put up better protection for these thing (send message please)

yeah wel you all are freekin lucky cause i have been grounded sence the day before the new maps came out and now sence i havent been playing custom games like crazy when i first start out im probably not gonna be as good as everyone that knows the playing field but im sure in a short time ill get my 18 back i just need to get freekin ungrounded jeez i hate teachers if it wornt for them i would be playing right now. gamer tag:convect if your any good like around my rank and want to play some time send me a message later oh and i think bungie is awesome but yet i looked at the leader boards today and people have like 32 ranks like how do you get that huigh in not even a day and it says they only have one win when there game list shows different i think you need to get that fixed

if your going to reset the stats do it once. I was in the top 5 for team preview when after i won a game i delvld back dow to a 2. Both me and my brother did. i'm sorry but you guys have got to fix the problem cause im not the only one its been happening to.

the only change i would make would be to add sudden death in assault if you are in the process of arming it

Overall great update except the fact of Hill and Oddball for head to head as head to head should be meant for h2h and not skirmish based games. It would be alright if there was a radar for the skirmished based games...

mine and a couple of my friends' certain stats have been reset multiple times. We signed out and signed back in and some of my stats had reset! I want my level back!

OK, so i really like the new stat resets and eveything, and i especially like the new playlists. The one that concerns me, however, is team preview. I mean, dont get me wrong it's totally awesome, but what will become of it once everyone will be able to download the maps for free? Will it just dissapear and never be seen again????

Bungie Idiots, WHERE ARE THE DOWNLOADS???? Bungie would be late to their own mothers funeral, how pathetic is that? Bungie and its team are so unbelievably incompetent that they can never hit a deadline in time, i don't care how much work this involves but if its to much work then get another job or just don't give a damn deadline to the customers that also PAID and is going to PAY for this lack of service... furthur more because their so irresponsible in setting a deadline for anything they are putting out i will never buy another game besides halo 3 made from bungie or any of its affiliates and will also use the better buisness bureau and word of mouth to express how bad the bungie crew will perform in furthur gaming,...... GET ANOTHER JOB IF YOU GUYS CAN'T HACK IT.....

Bungie, go to hell. You toyed with this game too much. Making grenades stronger, ok. Paying for maps, fine I did that. Getting rid of plasma pistol, ill put up with that. Getting rid of overtime on assault, understandable. And now making Battle Rifle a starting weapon on some maps??! YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR, HALO SHOULD BE FAST PACED, ITS NOT GOD DAM GHOST REACON. YOU RUINED THE GAME!!
