I remember when I preordered it after seeing all the trailers and teasers over the years or whatever and when I finally got it I realized I was -blam!-ing scammed because it was NOTHING like the game they advertised and tried to -blam!-ing sell to me. And that is why I'll never preorder a game again :) People lost there shit over colonial marines being nothing like the ads and having next to nothing shown in them yet destiny gets a free pass because it is by bungie. Yeah. -blam!- that. The game was one big lie and they tried to sell us something never seen before and all we got was a generic shooter that primarily revolves around repeating the same tasks hundreds of times. I then played it for a year like a dumb shit because there were no good games coming out that caught my eye, thinking it'd get better but it never did and my dedication to it was rewarded with gear lock outs and everything in year one amounting to nothing because it was one big beta test for 100$. Soon the beta is over and new players get the experience we should have had a year ago.

  • Well comparing the gameplay to our game now the story has changed but I think that it was mostly the community's fault for creating their own hype

No. Watch the advertisements. The game i s nothing like any of the trailers and teasers and footage they showed. They basically advertised no man's sky mixed with metroid and all we got was call of duty: space shooter edition. I've played 1$ indie games better than -blam!-ing destiny and at least they didn't try to sell me something that ended up nothing like the ads that got me to buy it. Also, the story is almost non existent in the game. Ha.

  • Not denying the story part but the world is open during missions, their is something to do everyday, it has pretty decent graphics, the (very few) cinematic's are nice, and the community (beside B.net) is cool. They delivered majority except what mattered A STORY!

The world isn't open. Select outer areas are open, there is a lot of it that Is locked off unless you're doing specific missions that open up the locked areas. The cinematics amount to nothing when all it is is gibberish and helps in little to no way to forward the next to non existing story. The content is lacking too. What?3 hours of casual content that contains around 7 strikes,15 "story" missions and a raid that didn't even get released when the game came out? Which just about all of it revolves around going through the exact same area every exact same time but just going through a locked door to a small room at the end of the grind fest.
