Seems like that will be all for today! What are your guys' thoughts overall? Titan Helmet : Empirean Bellicose http://m.imgur.com/2ooRz3B Passives: *Aiming down your sights while in mid air will hold you in place for a short period of time. *Picking up Orbs even after your super is charged will cool down your melee. Shotgun: The Chaperone http://m.imgur.com/961fmoX Passives: *Single Slug (No Spread) Agility Boost while equipped. *Precision kills with this weapon grant a brief increase to Range, Rate of Fire, and Stability. Warlock Chest: Alchemist's Raiment http://m.imgur.com/7TMUz8f Passives: *Collecting Primary Ammo will give you a chance to collect glimmer. *Picking up orbs after your super is fully charged recharge your grenades and melee. Fusion Rifle: Teleso http://m.imgur.com/Otd0Fd0 Passives: *Fusion Rifle will attach projectiles to your foes and detonate with a delayed void blast. *Multi-Kills with this weapon generate orbs of light.           • So far year one exotics outshine the crap out what they revealed. Not one of those exotics is better than the year ones, those hunter gauntlets are the only exotic that are even competable. The titan helm looks awesome but what a fuking dumb perk. I figured they would show exotics that somehow reinforce the new subclasses, guess not.

          • So I am with the people that said that if they were trying to impress us with the selection of exotics to show us, that they FAILED MISERABLY. These are NOT great exotics and in fact they really aren't even that GOOD either. Titan Helmet: Let's make a Titan helmet to give you the most useless Warlock perk as an exotic perk, that will be great right? Warlock Chest: Let's make glimmer farming a bit easier. That's nice and all, but I would rather have an exotic CLASS ITEM do that. I want my armor to be able to do tangible in battle things. Titan Helmet/Warlock Chest Both: Let's give em grenades and/or melee energy by picking up orbs when super is charged... NO I don't want to pick up orbs when super is charged. If I am being a good teammate, I am using my super to generate orbs for the team to regenerate their supers etc. I pick up their orbs to regain my super, they pick up mine. It's a TERRIBLE waste of an orb to pick it up at full Super. This literally only comes into play in only 2 cases... 1: If I am a sunsinger that holds on to the super for self res anyway as a last ditch saving tool or 2: if you make extra orbs in an area and are going to move on... but then by the time you get to the next area you have already recharged your grenade/melee anyway probably. Hunter Gloves: This one is actually decent. Having 2 melee as a hunter would come in very handy in multiple situations in both PvE and PvP. THIS is the kind of exotic I like. Something that gives you a benefit that is clear and useful in multiple situations. Having built in grave robber is decent and it doesn't say you have to have primary equipped for it to work, so i can use presumably use my Shotgun and follow up with a quick melee and possibly regain my primary being loaded which isn't bad. This one also doesn't proc on Kills it's on hits so that furthers it's potential use. Weapons: They seem alright. Not a fan of the Shotgun unless the buffs you get from the precision kills is HUGE. Why? Well This gun was showed off in previous PvP footage and it's a ANOTHER SOLAR Shotgun... We already know Invective is getting a Year 2 upgrade, so it would REALLY have to be good to make me want to use it over Invective 2.0 (unless Invective 2.0 stinks). The fusion rifle looks really cool and is something we are sorely lacking (a Void exotic) so I am on board with this one. It sounds like it will do minimal damage with the actual projectiles which could be a problem, but the explosions left behind will finish the job off, which could be good. I am NOT particularly a fan of the "team perk" aspect. Similar to Lord of Wolves, it's secondary perk does not help you yourself, but helps your team by dropping orbs on multi kills, this would be SO much better if it just dropped orbs on multi kills period so that you could pick up the orbs yourself (and maybe it IS like that, but the wording is poor, although I doubt it). But at least this is better than nothing and has some use, I am just not personally a fan of perks like that. From what I have seen here they showed off 2 crappy armor pieces, 1 decent armor piece, 1 mediocre weapon, 1 interesting weapon, and copped out be RESHOWING Sleeper Simulant as the 6th and final one. NOT a spectacular reveal IMO, but it's something...

              • Perks aside, I love the design/aesthetic of nearly all of these exotics (the Warlock chest is a bit 'meh', but still nice enough...).

                  • The only Exotic I genuinely dislike here is the Warlock chest, as many others have said that shouldn't be an exotic perk it would be better on a Ghost shell or Class item. Titan Helm: I'm honestly not surprised of all the classes Titans generally have the most niche and/or lack luster exotic perks this is just another one to add to the bucket imo it'll probably see more use than Eternal Warrior(or maybe as little use) tbh I'm not sure how Bungie can make Titan helms like this after having Helm of Inmost light in the game... which you know offers 2 perks that work rather well together. Still I'm not surprised so I cant even feel disappointed. Hunter Gauntlets: How and why are people complaining about these? For the new subclass given that you can have a slow/poison cloud melee this seems like a godsend in many situations. You now have two slows, that you can add a perk from your tree to deal poison damage much like a wizard smoke cloud, or you could even make it so you can set these melee's up like another form of a trip mine grenade and use them to bait enemies into traps. This also works rather nicely fro Blade dancer running a stealth revive setup you now have two ways to stealth that don't require you to crouch and wait. Not only that but you also have a chance to reload your weapon on a melee hit. Shotgun: I'm assuming this shotgun hopes to succeed where Universal Remote failed?(When I first saw uni remote its perk set seemed to line it up to be more like a slug type shotgun although after its nerf it didn't seem to be able to do that anymore) It looks somewhat promising but I doubt like any other shotgun you'll ever see it used outside of crucible.(Although if its range/accuracy is decent it might be an OKAY pick in PvE) Fusion Rifle: It's perks remind me of the Plasma launcher from Reach minus the fact that it has no tracking, I'd imagine its base damage will be low but hopefully the blast radius and damage of its projectiles detonation will be decent if not... well then I don't think the orb generation perk will be enough to warrant it's use unless you know it drops like 3-4 orbs per multikill. That and being a Fusion Rifle if it has a slow charge rate this thing will get scraped hands down. At this point in time Slow charge rate Fusion Rifles feel entirely worthless unless they can be full auto like the Pocket Infinity and with the supposed "buff" Bungie plans for fusions(even though imo it sounded more like a nerf to make an already well underused/worthless weapon type even more undesirable) I'm not sure this thing could preform too well. Heavy Fusion Rifle: Not much to say here Sleeper Stimulant looks nice but alas it's a fusion thus it is already labeled with the "Possible Crap" Title. If Bungie really wants to push Fusion rifles with this expansion they really need to work on finding a balance for them. I like Fusion rifles I try to use them now and then but charge times/horrible range = bad combo when paired against a shotgun that even with the most abysmal fire rate can fire two shots off before a Fusion gets off a single charge.

                      • Yeah geniunely Bungie, these exotic perks are actually getting silly now, the exotics are supposed to be the best gear in the game, albeit they all look amazing, but their perks are absolute garbage? The perks need to be better and accurately refect what an exotic is, the best gear in the game. How long have you had to work on these perks and thats the best you come up with? Sorry to say thats embaressing, pretty sure the community could come up with some legitimately better perks than you ever could, you prove it when every new expansion you release.
