To start off, and with no intention of disrespect of course, this is the type of post you are likely to stir up controversy with. I'm happy you posted it in #Help, even though it doesn't necessarily belong here as Vexed mentioned. Like any aspect of internet interaction, it is very easy to remain anonymous and create a façade. With that being said, people may say or do certain things that is completely out of their actual nature. Anything you read on the internet should not be taken to heart, because again, everything is anonymous and any negative thoughts you are creating for yourself due to what somebody else says, are created by YOU. What you continue to mention is not just found on certain parts of the bungie.net forum. You will always find that patch of bad apples in the tree anywhere you go - especially online. How you choose to respond and react in your own mind is controlled by the user. I'm not justifying the course of anybodies actions and to an extent I agree with you. Extremely nasty people are dealt with accordingly. Most bug reports, help issues, and technical difficulties are solved in this help forum. Players are free to ask anything they'd like, as long as they seek a genuine answer about something related to Bungie. You will never feel unwelcomed or disregarded in #Help, unless you choose to react out of nature, simply because it's an online forum.

Metni, I respectfully disagree on some of your comments. The #Help tag is automatically generated, salty comments about a player placing a thread with the correct #, in your opinion, is really not relevant in accordance with the content. Read your own comment, you insult me by texting down to me because the # tag is not what you would like it to be. Intent or not, it is a negative comment in a manner one would start off a reprimand. How do you think a proper response by me, the person reading it, is going to go for the rest of context. You shaded your comment at the introduction. I did not negatively call you out in the context of the tread. Your comment in regards with the following: 'Anything you read... negative thoughts... are created by YOU.' This is again a negative comment with the intent to talk down or degrade a person. Second the ideology in that context is massively flawed as backed up by CASE LAW! It is also flawed by thinking it is anonymous---note your console account is used to log in and is used as the tag of the post. An analogy, I allow my teenage son to throw a party without supervision. At that party someone brings alcohol and one of the teenagers is pulled over drunk. The peace officer finds out that the alcohol was consumed on my property. Do you think that I'm not culpable because I had no direct interaction with the child? I provided the medium in which the children engaged in illegal activities, I would be culpable. I'm glad a lot of issues are solved in the #Help forum. The question comes to the intent of the end user when trying to convey a issue with the service provider. Is it the intent of the end user to ask for a public debate or have an audience provide answers or have a direct communication with the service provider. If I call AT&T because my long distance is not working, I don't first post an ad in the local news paper to solicit a response. What I do is directly contact their customer service representative. If it is something more technical I would contact their technical support. That is the major piece Bungie is missing with their product. Thanks for the comment, a little less salt next time. I'm not seeking an genuine answer, I'm seeking a solution. There is a key difference and that is highlighted by the content of the tread. I stated what I believe to be a problem, I proposed what I believe could be an avenue of a solution. To keep in context of the thread, in a public fashion you should provide other ideas for a solution or make a counter argument of why it is not broken. The audience this is writ for is Bungie, your input or comment would be for them to tag along on a conversation I've started. Not to be counter productive by texting down or insulting the person starting a conversation with a third party in which you were never included. Have a good day.

Sure, no problem. I can understand how you may easily take what I'm saying out of context. When I refer to 'you' I don't necessarily mean to speak directly towards you, or down to you in any sense, but of a general user. Vexed has pretty much summed up everything to say, and my general response to your thread was meant to be more associated with your #abuse tags, etc. as I found them to be irrelevant to the actual purpose of the thread, with all due respect. As I mentioned, I'm simply happy that you posted this in help because if it were anywhere else, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation due to the players you were originally describing. Generally ignorant over an anonymous space. When I say it doesn't belong, I'm saying that it belongs on a better platform where the right people who look for people like you will see it. And you're right, I didn't have to post on this, but I seemed interested in what you had to say. Don't read anything I am writing in a negative sense towards yourself or the ideas that you're projecting. I throw salt at ice, not at other people. All the best.
