I don't even think it's even going to take 100+ man hours.
Now that Bungie has made things even easier, just watch a guide on the piece locations, easy, you obtain the exotic weapon.

Unless, of course, the locations are randomly generated each time you enter the Dreadnaught. That's how I would do it.

That's true. That would really be cool honestly. However people complained about how hard it is to get certain weapons, I'm sure they are doing things to make it not a grind fest leading over 200+ hours and whatnot.
