What do you think an appropriate solution to this year 1 crisis would be?

Edited by pablogordon: 8/9/2015 3:06:50 PM1) it's not like Destiny is exactly overflowing with stuff to do, and making items obsolete also makes the activities associated with obtaining them obsolete. 2) DLC/expansions are supposed to make games bigger and better. 3) this game is proven very scalable. This is the point: As far back as when TDB went live, I was baffled as to why the VoG didn't get a higher level difficulty added that also dropped its 'old' weapons with new higher stats. HoW was a good step in the right direction, but it didn't go far enough in my opinion, all items (excluding exotics) should have had an upgrade path up to vendor-legendary quality, then be ascendable. It's entirely possible in TTK that: 1) this new 'sacrifice' feature may be the new working solution to BOTH an upgrade/ascension and transmog (where you take an item you like the looks of and an item you like the stats of and combine them). And 2) the current endgame activities may well finally get new higher level difficulties and drop the same old items at new stats. Obviously I/we don't have te facts just yet....
