Once you finish the narrative in TTK (story, raid etc) you will unlock a mission that explains what happened to Praedyth in the VoG (it's in the vault as well) and where he is now! I'm so excited for TTK! If your negative please don't comment thanks.

If you have ever seen The Evil Dead, you will remember the audio tape of Professor Knowby recording his finding on the Necronomicon. This is also used in the end credits of the 2013 remake, Evil Dead. Given how similar the voices are, and how similar the recovered audio's style is, and that the Necronomicon is the book of the dead and deals with demons and the hive are sort of undead......I really suspect it is Bob Dorian from The Evil Dead.

Who is Praedyth's voice actor, because I recognised his voice?!
-
I made sure to teabag him for all the times his sniper killed me in the crucible.
-
Sign if u still looked to c if the exotic chest was there :-p
-
Was by far my favorite mission.
-
He's going through a McDonald's drive-thru in infinite loops over and over again.
-
So, his skeleton is there, but he is alive somewhere? Is that correct?
-
Been there, done it,nothing too special, just a skeleton at the end,if you want fun do the Sunless Cell Strike,, the mission you mentioned is simply there to fill in the sketchy year one lack of story, there are much more better things to do in the game now than there ever was in year one, well done Bungie.
-
Such a good mission, was actually a tad challenging solo
-
It's fairly easy to deduce what happened to Praedyth. Praedyth was either erased from time by the oracles or gorgons, or locked in the time stream by atheon.
-
Very good mission but how did he get down there? Kabrs fireteam never made it past the Templar I thought this is back up somewhere in the grimoire.

I think the taken collapsed his time loop. The closed time loop was a paradox, but the title of the mission suggests that the paradox has resolved itself into existence as a paradox (whereas a time loop is produced to avoid having a paradox exist). The source of the now existent paradox is likely his death at the hands of the taken. I don't really see the paradox being resolved by the taken but rather allowed to exist as one, which means the vex also let us do it.

He died to a gorgon that's why the door was shut
-
Mission had me freaking out. I was all "ARE WE ABOUT TO MEET A NPC MID-MISSION, THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN DESTINY!"
mfw it was a -blam!-ing skelly
-
Pretty fun mission as well.
-
It was a very easy mission. I only died once.
-
was pretty cool to play through there and know some strategic spots to use during the fights in templar/oracles and gorgon maze I busted out VOC and it was fine!
-
Let's fall with praedyth!
-
He's only dead when we look for him
-
I killed the vex at the front gate. Bahaha
-
Look at the description on praedyths revenge. Apply it to the current state of praedyth and it proves hes alive in a different timeline
-
I played it, its pretty cool and it can be tough if you don't end it quickly the enemies will very rapidly get out of control, just make sure to hit that thing with everything you have when its vulnerable and you'll be fine.

I'm stuck at 233 light what's the best way to go up?
-
I blew myself up a few times at first until I understood the mini mechanics. I thought the containment was random at first.

I take pride in my skill at this game. Im a very competent player. I died like 7 times in the Templar room for some reason. I was so pissed.
