I've played crucible for the first time in a while recently and o noticed 2 people in our starting spawn just sitting. And I was wondering why we were losing (and lost). Because of the stupid ass system where bottom people get equal (and I feel greater) chance at rarer loot it built this stupid assumption that "if I don't don't anything and be bottom player I can get good stuff" I played with a group of randoms from this apps recruiting tan for hard VoG. They were nice. And we did hard Crota too. We played crucible after that as well. Our group of 4 was top of every game. One game however caught my eye. Bottom player. 3/20 k/D. The first game we lost has this guy. And above him 2/14 K/D. Now wonder we -blam!-ing lost. Why am I explaining this? Because my squad got 1 blue engram between us and these two got legendaries. AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LEADERBOARDS ON THE LOSING TEAM THAT LOST BECAUSE OF THEM. If Bungie fixed this -blam!-ed up system maybe we wouldn't have these people that go AFK who are doing it because they KNOW that they'll still get rewarded equally (and in many instances greater) than those who actually do something.

  • Had a similar game but I joined as solo and was matched up with 5 other randoms in pvp. 4 out of those 5 was playing and the guy being afk received 2 legendaries in the same game. I would love to see a afk-marking in pvp also just I'm not sure the one i proposed would work as well in pvp as in pve, sadly. Sad to hear yet another fellow guardian have had to suffer from people being afk, but glad you shared it. Please share this post so it can get more "view" and hopefully it will reached the guys at bungie.
