I'm sure this has been topic of discussion on several occasions, but I was curious on some positive feedback from everyone. I have always found myself to be a machine gun kind of guy. I am now especially fond of my BTRD-345 with Spray and Play and Crowd Control, but last night I got The Ash Factory on a drop, which I hear is to be fancied by many of you fine folks. I ended up rerolling it with Tripod, Speed Reload and Grenades and Horseshoes. I was wanted to see what the group consensus was..thanks.

Proximity rockets are a MUST in trials. The BTRD just wrecks in any other crucible.

I like MGs more, especially my perfectly rolled BTRD! But they're both situational. If the opposing team is good or its trials I'll run a rocket
-
Rockets I like to use for control so I can just blast a zone and get 3-4 kills. In all others I use a machine gun
-
Anything sweaty: Rocket is needed For long kill streaks in control and stuff: MGs
-
ToO and skirmish: Rocket Control rumble and clash: MG
-
Btrd-345 with increased range when aiming and quick reload is beautiful

Edited by tievoli: 7/12/2015 4:45:50 PMtbh it really comes down to the game mode, I have the same BTRD-345 actually and a radegast with similar perks, for rumble i will tend to run with the machine gun since if you do kill someone they are going to be alone and its not worth wasting a rocket on them, maximizing your ammo. For other game modes it really depends on what your comfortable with, who your playing with and how good the other team is. for me i usually use an MG in regular playlists no problem, but for ToO or competitive ill use a rocket.

Anything but trials: against all odds (hmg) Trials: gjallarhorn during heavy round
-
Rockets usually confirm one maybe 2 kills in pvp but lmgs depending on the weapon could net you 5-10 kills
-
I'm not hearing any love for The Ash Factory though..anyone bother to use it?

Against All Odds with Rodeo Surplus and Feild Scout.

It's a pride thing with machine guns I think. Rocketeers are willing to kill themselves to win a 1v1 but machine gunners don't tend to be so full hearty
-
Competitive- rocket Regular- machine gun
-
3v3 rocket 6v6 hmg
-
I use a MG that will kill ppl with 2 to 3 shots to the head. In trials though I have a tracking rocket that holds 3 shots.
-
I prefer machine guns because you can get way more kills with them
-
Rocket because Horseshoe. If you pick anything other than that for PvP lol. Machine gun only for bounties in IB.

The Swarm FTW

Depends on the game

Yeh I just landed the btrd, but everyone uses rockets and it gets annoying trying to dodge or blink past the proximity detonation. Personally I've always used corrective measure and jolders.
-
Holders hammer ftw lol good rolls and a steady shot sonn
-
Launcher because lag
-
Corrective measure I just stay back and when the explosions stop, go on the front line and wreck
