You would have to had your old Bungie.net profile linked to your current Microsoft account. Your Microsoft account is what your gamertag is linked to.

Can I do that now? What about reverting my GT as someone suggested?
-
Whatever gamertag your Microsoft account was linked to will be the ones with stats. Remember Halo.bungie.net stopped showing updated stats sometime in 2012.
-
So I won't be able to retrieve those stats then? I just wanted to get the legacy status on my current account.
-
Is the Microsoft account you used then the same as the one now?
-
If I try to sign in to xbox.com with that Gamertag it signs me in to my current account
-
Yes. Same email
-
It should link then. I linked my old account to my current live account. There has been cases of people going through what you did.
-
And let me just say thank you for responding.
-
So how exactly do I go about doing it?
-
Are you trying to get a certain emblem or you just want to use your old account?
-
I'm just trying to get those emblems since I have been on Bungie.net since 2011 with my old profile
-
Oh. Well the time for that has passed, one of the Bungie employees said if you didn't have it linked before the game released, it cannot be unlocked. I'll try to find the post for you.
-
Crap. Oh well. Thanks for the help anyway. I don't get many responses when I post in Help. I appreciate the time and effort.
-
No problem. I was just as disappointed. I had played 4 of the 6 and I didn't get it.
-
Sucks. I completely forgot that I had an old account to be honest. I remembered yesterday
-
Make sure you are using the Bungie.net account that you want to use. 1. On desktop, go to your profile. 2. Go to settings. 3. Go to link accounts. 4. Link the Microsoft account associated with your gamertag.

Only problem is.... I can't login to that account... The only way to sign into bungie.net is through a psn or xbl... And when i try with xbl it goes straight to my new GT
