If you think the UK (and other countries) price should be the equivalent in pounds as it is in US dollars sign below. I'm sure most UK players would be happy with a price around £30. I paid £40 for the full game and now I'm having to pay £40 for The Taken King, which has much less content. Why?!
Hopefully we can get enough signatures and Bungie will then address the issue by reducing the UK price or explaining why we are being BLATANTLY ripped off in the UK and other non-US countries. Have they not heard of exchange rates?!
Please sign/bump if you agree.......
Please like the post too so it moves up in the trending section so we get more signatures....
Edit 1: Thanks to the US gamers signing too! Camaraderie at its best!

Big Bump i have been sending tweets & emails daily to bungie, activision about this same pricing issue, everybody should have the same price $40 U.S. I have even wrote to trading standards on this issue. If they get away with this you just know when year 3 comes around they will do it all over again

Edited by SanctifiedN7: 8/26/2015 1:59:58 PMWhy do people ASSUME(cause when you assume you make an ASS out of U and ME)that we are cheap? Or hate Bungie? We actually wish aids on Activision and just want to be treated equally. Quick, gather up some politicians as well and bring some needles to renegotiate the VAT.

Agreed every other game I've played has made sure they have transferred the price into the accurate amount in pounds I really don't understand it's different with destiny.

BIG BUMP

Signed I will not be buying it as when TTK was announced I received an email from bungie announcing TTK digital copy would be £27.99 or $39.99 they then changed it to £40 or $40 and its not about the price but the fact europeans are being ripped off :(

I don't understand why you guys are mad you are getting a cheaper price, at the moment the British pound is worth less than the U.S. dollar so you are getting a better deal
-
Signed. While being higher, the UK price is also about that of a full game. Will The Taken King have that much new content? Sure, its good that Bungie have been working continuously on improvements, but I have already spent £80 on Destiny and the first 2 "expansions" and seen a disappointing amount of additional game play content. The unimpressive number of DLC missions often re-use existing maps. In addition, Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition is currently £44 on amazon.co.uk - how is the TTK component/DLC £40 when purchased separately?
-
The only thing i am annoyed about isthat we have to buy Destiny, House of Wolves, The Dark Below and THE TAKEN KING. Why can't the loyal buy just the dlc on its own.
-
Just move to America for a couple days?
-
I'm from the U.S. And it's confusing that Bungie or maybe Activision has decided to go this route. Equality for all. Signed

Edited by Darth Eastman: 8/13/2015 3:51:57 PMI'm in the UK and it's one of those things you can petition all you want it's £40 dlc doesn't change price cause people like to moan. If you want it buy it if not buy another game
-
Blame your government; taxes and import duties.
-
If you agree to pay it (i.e. You buy it or preorder it), then it's not really a ripoff. It costs what it costs, get over it. If you have that big of an issue with it, boycott Destiny and don't buy TTK.
-
You don't see the Japanese complaining about their TTK price. TTK is available for pre-order on the JP PSN store for $140 USD or something like that.
