I got kicked for insisting on doing the bridge legit.
Title says it all. I got kicked at the bridge cp because I wanted to do it legit. We wiped like 4 times then they kicked me.
What a great community. Where doing things the right way is looked down upon.

Bungie never patched the bridge cheese because they knew it was boring and stupid. Join a flawless raider group if your goid enough.

If it isn't patched, I wouldn't say "right way". Right way is beating, by using any mean required to do so. I get your desire to do it legit, it's fun. But at this point in the game, people want that shit done fast. Now, you can say "great community" UT for conversations sake, after that 4th wipe, did they, including the host, say, ok let's cheese it, or whatever? We're you resistant to that? If so, I can see why they would kick, at the end of the day, you joined someone else's game, the host has the right to dictate how the flow of battle will go, he has the right to remove anyone he wants. Now, if they just booted you because "ahh we wiped, it's your fault, you suck" kind of a childish move on their part, but still, they didn't want to do that. I'm not hating, just trying to see things from both sides.

Ive done the bridge "legit" on hard back when we were 31s and 32s. Is it doable? Sure. Is it all that hard? Not really. Heres the thing though. Destiny is a time suck. And when you have a full time job and have obligations outside of destiny you just need to get stuff done as quickly as possible. End of story. If you want do an activity "legit" then make sure your playing with a group of like minded Gaurdians. Its as simple as that.

Just go along with it I doubt most know how to do it legit anyways. My personal experience is go with the group or get kicked

If no one on your team wants to do it legit just go with it. Chances are none of them even know how to do it legit. Otherwise just find a new group that knows how

1 ReplyIf one guy [b][u]insisted[/u][/b] on doing the bridge the long way, while everyone else wanted to get it over with, I'd be in favor of booting him too. Be a team player next time. I'm all for doing it legit, if others want to do it that way too. Group > a single person.

I have a lot of crota completions and at this point I just want to get it done asap so I can just move on to something else. Also, even if I do have the time, me and my friends would run it multiple times in a day so we will cheese where we can just to save as much time as we can.

There is no "legit" way for bridge. You don't have to despawn any enemies, they're not hard to deal with lol. You go over normally but there is always a few folks that die on the other side after a few folks make it over and it turns into a semi-cheese anyways because no one wants to go through all the effort to bring one guy over when he can just die and let the other guys on the other side do all the work.

It's kinda sad. It's kinda bungies fault, they haven't fixed these loopholes. But yes the community seems more focussed on completing the raids to get another few chances at gear ( which is cool ), but y'know, it's a game, enjoy the experience. It feels lame cheering everything. Especially on Hard mode, don't get me started about sitting for days dead and useless because you can't make to the top off the map, so you sit and wait while a few teammates snipe. Tbh hard mode with no re spawns is stupid. It removes players from the game for extended periods, and makes warlocks use their super as a second life, which is a waste. They could have simply increased the level of difficulty of the challenges themselves, reduced margin of error. Make you work as a team, the whole team, not just 3 carrying everyone. /end rant
