+ scout rifles + sidearms + snipers + machine guns + rocket launchers + throwing knives + shoulders + fists + supers + blink. Anyone notice that there are posts in favor of nerfing everything except autos? Just buff autos, everything else is fine. So dumb.

So dumb.[/quote] I definitely agree auto rifles are underpowered but shotguns are way overpowered and need to stop being used as primaries in games of rumble. TLW also rocks out in rumble.

In Rumble you aren't cooperatively advancing, firing on multiple enemies to suppress them as your team makes a coordinated assault. You are playing hide-and-murderseek with five other equally monstrous opponents. If you don't want to die by a shotgun, don't play like it's a game of Control, and practice your midrange game to perfection. Right now it doesn't sound like you're successfully doing those things.

I was criticizing his expectations for Rumble, where the primary weapon is lower value than it is in Control. In Rumble no one is watching your flanks or shooting beserkers with you from a distance, so you have to play more conservatively if you aren't comfortable playing an assault style. If you put yourself within a short sprint of two or more corners, someone will pop out and bag you while you try to pick off someone else. That's Rumble.

Shotguns you just have to stay out of range. If its cqc map you should be using a shotgun yourself. Stay moving and be more accurate than your opponent to beat TLW.
