The Mystery of Destiny

So I quit Destiny a while back after playing Iron Banner, grinding through Strikes, trying to find Raid groups, and getting random loot that I was either happy, frustrated, or indifferent towards. Regardless, I still kept tabs on Destiny and checked on it from time to time. Sad to say, not much has changed, even with House of Wolves coming out for everyone. Yes, they broke down upgrade barriers, which they shouldn't have had in the first place, and yes, they introduced something else other than a Raid, but a horde mode. The problems are still there, however. Just because Bungie added new characters doesn't mean that old characters are still horrible, and the new ones get boring quick. Just because Bungie gave us something new doesn't mean that it's bad, as well; it's still a grindfest. New weapons still means more stuff to grind for, which is a huge problem in this game. There's still no story here at all, and it only got mildly interesting in the House of Wolves. The guy in this video says a lot of things that are still relevant for this game, and Bungie needs to fix all of that. Until then, I won't be coming back to this game until the story, mission design, characterization, and everything else we were promised comes back to us. Even though there are tons of conspiracies about this game, whether they are true or not and no matter how many people believe them, it speaks volumes to how Destiny is not the game we were hoping for. I'll see you on the other side.
