Standing quite opposed to the sea of "Remove Final Round" and other topics condemning such things, I have what I believe is a better suggestion. Add back all the perks that were removed in the Prison of Elders Expansion to both random drops and the reforge system. Swarms of guardians already have Final Round Efrideets Spears and Hammer-Forged, Shot package Fellwinters' Lie at their disposal, either from luck or from countless hours of reforging. At this stage of the game it's far too late to try and remove such perks, short of removing them entirely from the game. As that isn't likely possible and would be a slap in the face to all those who took the time to craft such a weapon, instead allow all guardians to try and reforge their weapons this way. For those of us here since launch, we've seen hundreds of combinations for perks, taking away from that pool for some skewed idea on balance lessens the uniqueness and variety of each guardians weapons. In all honesty, being able to reforge with all weapon perks at your disposal provides a better sense of reward than much of the content in the game at the moment. With Legendary items becoming so commonplace now and with reforging available on all new legendaries, the only feeling of reward from much of the game is finding said legendary items you like the 'look' of; as all of their important perks can be changed to fit your play style. The reward now comes from the hours spent collecting glimmer, motes of light, and weapons parts to try and roll your new weapon- which, replaces all the grinding you were trying to remove in the first place, nice try though!- Simply add back the old perks, give us a bigger pool of abilities to play with when reforging. If you really felt the need you could simply lower the rate at which such a perk could drop to make them that much more sought-after. Many guardians here and employees working for Bungie might argue that if they were to add in the old perks, all their new 'trade-off' perks would become worthless. To be fair some would become worthless, yes; But many of those are already considered so by the community. Others, though would shine that much brighter. One roll comes to mind of finding a legendary sniper rifle fitted with both smallbore (More range and stability, less ammo) and a final round. Image such a roll, especially on some of those three-round snipers. I'm sure every guardian here has that 'Perfect roll' that takes perks from each of the expansions. As I stated before, many of these powerful, much hated -and at the same time loved- weapons are out there right now, doing what they do best. By removing the ability to even have a hope of rolling such a weapon simply makes people hate them and complain that much more. I'm not saying make the older, "better" perks commonplace, just give us guardians a chance to find them.

  • id rather have the entire reforge system changed to where we can actually select the perks we want to have on it. my prefernce with perks with always include field scout.
