Destiny as a Trading Card Game (TCG)?

Would Destiny work as a TCG? What would be your ideas for it if you have some? Discuss!

I think it would be cool. There would be guardian cards and the legendary ones would be the Vanguard, and The Exotic ones would be like Kabr and Jaren Ward. The guns would be cards too, they would have random stats (with some kind of boundaries) for each gun. It could be organized so you have a deck of say 30-60 cards, one being a guardian that you always start with, 2 more that could be in your fireteam. Exotic guardians would have their own weapons already equipped. The deck would also consist of about 15-30 weapon cards (half of your deck depending on deck size) and the rest of the cards could be abilities or something. I think it would work pretty well. Assuming it was guardian VS. Guardian. If you wanted a PvE kind of game you could have stories in books that would have the enemies and stories that you and a few other guardians could team up to play. It could be organized so you could go to a card gaming store and if you and your friends finish, the managers of the store would give you a set of reward cards. They are only given to each person once. Of course the cards are tradable but you can't get the reward cards again because they are only rewarded once per person, per store. The stores would keep a record book of the rewards too.

    • You should have to battle through the story, then team up and to the raids. Except it should be an app and work like Pokemon when you battle an you summon things like dregs, Wizards etc. you can link it to your account and summon your own guardian. If anyone has ever played an app called hearth stone then I think that set up would be even better for the actual battle gameplay

    • I play the trap card- "You've Awoken the Hive'. You lose 5 light levels and gain light's burden for two turns. I end my turn

      • make it like Pokemon, where you can play dregs and such, and guardians are super powerful and hard to summon, with only raid bosses being more difficult. motes of light would work like the energies in Pokemon, increasing your level so you can do more damage.Players would have to attach motes of light to their characters in order for them to use exotic weapons. weapon cards would also increase your damage but only for one attack, and grenades/ super cards could work like spells/ traps from yugioh. there could be synthesis cards to re equip weapon cards from the discard pile, and a destiny vault app spell to transfer your motes of light from one character to another, provided they are the same race (dreg-vandal-servitor/thrall-acolyte-knight ect.) and strange coin cards that allow you to reveal cards from the top of the deck untill you get to an exotic card, then add it to your hand. each player would get 200 life, with the attacking/defending system of magic, but with scaled up numbers. exotic armor cards would be equipped directly onto the player, one at a time, and would give them special skills to use once per turn (armamentarium: each grenade you activate gets a double effect, and when you use a heavy weapon you may flip a coin. if heads you may add +??? bonus damage. saint-14: activating a ward of dawn super negates all damage for this turn, as well as your oponents' next. nothing manacles: scatter grenades become unblockable ect.) Tl:Dr: yes, i think it'd work!

        • Light level could dictate health like each light level or just level equals say 10 HP. Individual cards like a 300corrective measure or a 331 word or Crota dictate how much damage you do. There could be cards that help you with your abilities. Say every guardian card has their grenade and super abilities that charge every so amount of turns. Orbs of light cards and such could help reduce the turns until cool down is over. That's just my rough idea

        • Yes, but I would see it as a RPG/TCG. RPG - Loot System and Quests. TCG- You could choose a Warrior (Vanguards, Crucible, Awoken). The bosses would be Cards same with NPCs.
