i bet that a lot of losers are really happy because they get recon armor now. bungie, you can feel very proud of yourselves for being so -blam!-. i hate bungie. take shotty snipers out of team snipers and don't ever use ghost town

this update could have been a series of Twitter updates: 1. December game informer: u can haz recon 2. had to dress up for work today. some nerd wore a red jacket. 3. lunch: meats and tatos. Ordered "virgin" martini.

I remember a while back when some Bungie guy said something along the lines of Recon being worthless very soon. I'm no detective, but I sort of expected the Vidmaster Achievements to be worth something more than just satisfaction. Also, the title 'Halo 3: [u]Recon[/u]' gave it away somewhat (that Recon armor would be related to it) I'm just wondering, though, why is Recon going public? I mean, if I had gotten my own set of the armor for doing something special, when I found out about Recon going public, I would have felt like Bungie hates me or something. Ah well, sucks for those people who got Recon the hard way.

Not sure how I feel about [i]everyone[/i] having recon....once everyone has it, it will basically have the same "prestige" as having the hayabusa. But oh well, at least all the recon posts will [hopefully] diminish. As an aside...the nerd in the sweater vest is pretty good looking.

Dude i agree its stupid to give everybody recon, theirs no point to it i liked when bungie only gave it to those people who deserved it now every 8 year old kid out here is gonna start bragging about having recon i think its the coolest armor permutation out there, so give it to the guys who do the coolest things with the game [Edited on 11.15.2008 9:04 AM PST]

if everbody is gonna get rec*n then its no special armor anymore!!! BUT! i think that everybody will only have it available on H3:R and not H3 :D

You cant help but marvel at bungies business savvy. They could literally sell a game called halo 3: recon for 40 greenbacks and all the disc does is unlock recon armour as soon as you put it in, and theyd still run out of stock, and they know it. Ill buy the game, not for reconz though, but because it looks ace.

wow its gunna be hayabusa V2 There they go making sick armor and booom, EVERYBODY uses it so its nothing special. I also doubt im going to use it because everybody in the halo community will pull an arby n the chief OMG OMG OMG guys look i are haz recon armorZz. so then nobody likes it

Now not so fast everybody those that already have Recon are always special. The armor is a symbol for those that already have it that they accomplished something. And it's kind of like having seen the dark knight when batman begins came out. True, it will become the new Hayabusa but I'm pretty sure Bungie will make it even harder to get. Which makes me wonder, how did the first person to get IWHBYD know about it? That skull was very clever.
