Why are many of Destiny's Xbox achievements so delayed? There are times when my friends and I don't get them until days later after the actual achievements. Sometimes they do pop up right away. But most of the time, that's not the case. And I'm not the only one experiencing this.
UPDATE:
Per Xbox Support, achievements can take up to 72 hours (3 days) to show up. What I'm asking them now is why for some people, some achievements are taking weeks. I'm hoping they can at least pass the concern along to their sys admins / devs to investigate the obvious inconsistency.
And from what I gathered in this thread, the issue seems to be Xbox One specific, potentially not Bungie's.

Edited by Nightm4r3z: 5/27/2015 4:56:50 PMHappened to me all the time on destiny and this fixed it! 1. Start up destiny 2. When in orbit sign out of profile 3. Sign back into profile 4. Select your character 5. Achievements should unlock when in orbit (mine and my brothers did) Hope this helps you out =)

Yeah. This dumb app even says I have zero Crota completions, even while rocking the boots and the gauntlets. Pshaw.

Put this in #Feedback?

It's okay I just got the achievements for doing a strike and a raid with a fireteam of only clans members like last week and I've been doing that since like January lol
-
Dude, acutally got a few Halo MCC achievements to pop while playing destiny. It had been around two months since having played MCC collection!
-
I get my achievements by just signing into my girlfriends Xbox.
-
It's because Xbox One sucks
-
Never had this happen and I have 1000 gamerscore... I mean it took flawless raider maybe 0 seconds to pop up, but that's not that bad.
-
Another option is to completely close out of destiny
-
Signing out of destiny worked for me to pop them as soon as I signed back in. Where change character option is... the other option there. Has worked for friends aswell
-
From my experience I have only had achievements delay for destiny. All other games my achievements popped up immediately.
-
Why does it matter?
-
Short: Xbox sucks Long: please refer to short.
-
I used to have they but lately it's been five
-
You can force them to pop up, this was address a long time ago
-
I've had an achievement take up to 2-3 weeks to show up. It's such a hassle.
-
It's XBone not destiny. Xbox live authenticates every achievement to ensure they aren't glitched. It's annoying. Sometimes it takes weeks.
-
Log out then back in. They'll pop
-
No one care about Xbox. Lol.
-
They're Playstation exclusive so you have to wait.
-
Edited by MagikSkull: 5/27/2015 3:44:41 PMYep, happened to me too. Sometimes they would take days to pop.
-
Presumably you're on Xbox One. I'm on 360 and this isn't an issue. Be specific.
-
Got the heavy kills in crucible and one other and I had no idea I got it till a day later. Definetly something wrong
-
Mine are never delayed...
