After a long vacation, I came back to my xbox 360. I have been unable to download any updates since 3/5/15. I acknowledge there were Xbox Live issues where content was unable to download for a while. Now that it has been cleared for over a week, I still have problems with Destiny. I have power cycled the router and modem, cleared cache on 360 as well as downloading/reinstalling the game. I have powered off the system overnight with no change. I deleted my content so that it can be redownloaded. This seemed to make contact with something, because every time I attempt to try updates for Destiny, it gets to about 30% content download (however, the 'Downloading Updates' stays at 0%) and then I have code Oyster. I have tried setting the MUT to recommended settings for Xbox and Destiny, as well as setting a static IP and using the DNS server from my ISP. This makes no change as well. GTA V had no problem updating the new Heists game mode and I am able to play online with that, but Destiny makes no change. Yes I am using a wired connection. Does anyone else have any ideas? I really, really want to play Destiny, but after almost 2 weeks of unable to play, I am about to sell the game. This is after pre-ordering Limited Edition with the Season Pass. Someone please give me suggestions. Thank you.
