This has a happy ending, and you should read for future reference! : ) My friend, a random guardian from LFG, and I were completing the level 34 Prison of Elders fight, Urrox's Grudge. After a significant (and fun) amount of time we made it to round five against Urrox. After multiple attempts we finally got Urrox health down to 15% when I received a Beetle error code, and was kicked to orbit. This left my two fellow guardians in the fight, without their fellow bubble boy to assist. I tried rejoining through Xbox and Destiny, but couldn't because their event was almost completed and fireteam joining was disabled! They wiped for me to rejoin, and I still couldn't rejoin even though they never left the airlock! After five minutes of trying numerous different ways of rejoining my fireteam, Destiny prevented me from rejoining! I was extremely frustrated, depressed, and it seemed that the last two hour joyful experience would reap me zero rewards. As a last ditch effort, I tried one more thing: I had my two fellow Guardians wipe a final time. I accepted a Xbox game invitation between the respawn screen and before the round was activated by the flaming servitor the Warden speaks through, and I was able to rejoin!! We finished it in two more tries, and now my Titan is wielding the Prison of Elders auto rifle, Wolfslayer's Claw. You only have roughly five seconds to do this for it to work. It appears that once the round 5 modifier appears on the fireteams screen, and the flaming servitor speaker box appears then no one can join. You would have to re-wipe and try it again. I hope this helps! : ) Why do you think Destiny prevents Guardians from joining/rejoining the final round of Prison of Elders, with no ability to save the round checkpoint?
