Well I'm still disappointing in there being no Blood Gulch but my hopes are still high for a custom map editor where I may be able to make it myself. Well I can dream. Good update though, I can't wait until some of the new maps are announced :)

At first glance I saw how long the update was and thought "Oh boy, a whole bunch of new info!" Then went back to the top to read. After a few sentences I realized we were just retreading old ground. Answering questions, many of which were answered before but needed more "clarification"! Guess what, I heard (well, read) you the first time, when you said you weren't making blood gulch... And cause some ************ (guess what that spells) got the crazy idea that you didn't say coagulation as well, that you must have been trying to trick us. I guess it's your own fault for not answering clearly enough the first time. We already got an update telling us about the new fileshare stuff. There was about 3 sentences of new info. So rather than just typing one paragraph to update us. Bungie reprinted all the old info then added a sentence here and there. It was all just filler. I wasn't learning anything new. We had also already found out about the new bungie cards. You can only miss it if you never look at your own profile anyway. Your shortest paragraph was the newest information. A new book about the art of Halo. I know there may not be much to say about that, other than go buy it, but c'mon put some effort and embelish a little. I am glad to read about the new employee. Thats the most positive statement I can make about this update. Well also this, just realize it also turns into a complaint before the paragraph is over. On the plus side. I am glad to hear the Bungie Favorites will finally be getting some attention. Please GOD tell me though that it won't be given back to communities and that your new guy, Urk, will be handling it. Communities just put up stuff by themselves, and that leaves independent people out of the equation (like myself, not saying my stuff is the best... but it could be and you would never know) I would like to know if anyone agrees. I would also like to know if you disagree. Please post your thoughts, and keep it mature and informational please. Two sentences about China's wall or what a jerk I am for complaining will not help anyone. Reklisniss

I was at first despondant over the lack of any new content that I personally care about, but Marty pulled a last second save and gave me something that made all of the arduous clicking and scrolling I had to do worth it.

That picture on the cover of Art of Halo 3 looks awesome(Warthog looking at two ships glassing something) Definite buy for me, even if I HAVE to pre-order it from the net. Thanks for the official "Prepare to Drop" audio! Marty never ceases to amaze me...Which reminds me...Got to go get my copy of the Halo 3 Soundtrack. No updated Forge features is sad but is it safe to say that these new maps(Mythic and Recon) will have cool items to place in Forge? Also, since we're back in New Mombasa(albeit a destroyed one), any chance of seeing remakes of the Urban maps from Halo 2, like Headlong and Terminal(or more specifically Headlong and Terminal) in the Recon's set of maps? Can't wait for the Render-to-Video feature to be up so I can finally get Bungie PRO. And with the promise of more on the maps before "Spring 2009" could we move on to the weekly reveals(Tuesday reveals I think) you did for the Legendary Map Pack? That way you don't inject complete hype and impatience into the fans and by the time you're done will all the maps, It will be closer to release! Like one out of the 6 maps, every week, complete with pictures(3 like the Legendary Map Pack ones or maybe even more?) and a QnA with the dudes involved in the making of those maps? Then after all the maps are revealed( 6 weeks), do a massive Weekly Update reveal(again like Legendary Map Pack) and talk more about Forge in those maps. Is it possible Bungie? Please? I am dying to see Orbital and Longshore. Sandbox and Heretic too. Oh, I forgot. I want to see Assembly in detailed and Citadel too! Please! Also, No Podcast? Sobs!! When could we see a new podcast or maybe even the E3 one( I want to know more about the Kotaku Joke) Thanks Guys. Awesome Update!

ok there has been one question i've been dying to ask how are they going to do health i mean are they going to reuse the whole energy shields thing or are they going to come up with a whole new system for Recon

I have a Question about Halo 3: Recon... Since Halo 3: Recon will be on its own disc, dose this mean that we'll get to save 100 more map variants, 50 more screen shots... etc. etc.? Or will all you save stuff be carried over?

I just thought a question that probably no one has asked yet: Will there be a Halo 3: Recon soundtrack? I love the song from the trailer and would love to be able to listen to it and the other awesome songs that are sure to come anytime I want on my CD player.

You forgot to address this: "Let’s dive into this a little deeper and try and address some of the questions that will no doubt arise from the community. First off are the “Vidmaster Challenge” achievements. These three will not earn you any gamer points but there will (eventually) be a pay-off. We’re not going to spoil the fun just yet but suffice it to say that gamerscore isn’t everything. There is a pot of gold at the end of the Vidmaster rainbow and it is something you will want. More details later."
