This is just how it is in every fps. It's like this in cod, halo, battlefield, you name it. Sorry, but I don't think it's going to change.
P.S. That 5+ extra minutes in matchmaking is just stupid

Having to solo deal with pre-mades is more stupid. It's an unfair advantage over solo players being in a team. And no, I should be able to play how I want, so I won't go find a team myself.

Destiny is built around teamwork: in nightfalls, raids, and even pvp. You can do all of these things solo, just it is harder. They probably should prioritize fireteams for other fireteams, but they should not, and most definitely will not get rid of full fireteams in crucible. It would be undermining the core values of the game.

Like I sad above; I just want them out of my solo games. If they're being matched against other large teams, cool. Just don't make me have to somehow carry a bunch of randoms who don't understand control map mechanics against a coordinated team of 4+.
