I always imagined that it was the Swordbearer guy that spawns in the Omnigul strike before you get to the final area.

LMAO oh yeah definitely! Run right by and don't even wave. Also, it could be anyone in that battle field for Fist of Crota where everyone just rides a sparrow by Omnigul and her minions to tackle the Blades of Crota bounty.
