Recently I've started playing Rumble. Trying to get the grimoire card for 100 wins in there. Thankfully lag isn't the issue most of the time. The biggest issue is that people join up in fireteams and boost one person up. Making it almost impossible for others to win fairly in the game. Why is this possible? What sort of fair play are you trying to support? Rumble is supposed to be yourself and 5 other random people. If you're going to let three in at the same time why not 6? Because to be honest it's about the same. I tested it yesterday with just a friend. Played with him and just wrecked people. And he didn't even have to try to win. It's ridiculous. Please fix this. Only a one person que up for Rumble. Also it would be nice not to be lagged out but....I think this might have been said a few times from other people...

Me and my Friend go into rumble to face each other's with challenges ( like we get to chose the others loadout, changing weapons everytime you die etc ) but when we find boosters we team up and solely go after them until they quit and we follow them to make sure they can't boost

Edited by UrOnlyChild: 10/31/2015 9:22:17 PMGetting tired of reporting three man group's boosting together in rumble being at the top of the board (all three or two with one with many deaths). You must lack individual skill if you cannot not do a certain task if you need to boost "cheat" to get it. Some of us are actually able to do those sought out bounties without help. I even solo Nightfall strikes if I have no friends currently on. Bottom line -- Remove fireteam Que for Rumble and for the whiners...give them their "custom" game which awards nothing bounty or task advancement towards any bounty.

This is why we need private Matches
-
Me and my friends love playing rumble against each other. Would be disappointing be unable to play it together anymore
-
What would fix this is more playlists such as a "no fireteam" sections or "reduced ammo spawn" playlists. Long gone are the days of enjoyable playlists and map voting according to Bungie
-
Me and 2 others when in rumble steed next to each other in one corner and shot any one that disrupted out tea party cause we could
-
Either add a solo queue rumble or remove fireteams.
-
I like playing rumble with my friends and I understand what you're saying. Why don't we remove experience or points towards bounties upon kills to members in a fireteam. That way the boosting could stop..
-
It's fun to do rumble with friends, always disappointing seeing people boosting
-
I know some people boost, but I've have some of the funnest games playing against my friends!
-
Since there are no custom games, it's essential for Bungie to allow fire teams in rumble. It's the only way friends can play against each other.
-
I love finding these people. And ruining their day
-
Months later I still see boosting happen. It's sad. I don't care if you have an exotic bounty or are doing it for grimoire. Go into another playlist that is 6v6 and do it there. Stop ruining the experience for others. What would be better is a custom playlist..... One day....

People who boost for any reason are bad.
-
They should be able to play with a fireteam of 6 or 1. Nothing else
-
When i rumble with my friends we just target eachother
-
Ran into some boosters yesterday. They were doing the jolly holiday quest. Boy did i ruin that quest for them. Two went very negative and the third was at 1.06 it was so fun. However if good people (they kinda sucked) boost then it becomes a problem. You can barely win a 3v1 without super.
-
Boosting is cheating. Perma ban all.
-
If they're boosting for exotic bounties, it's fine. If they're boosting just to win, -blam!- em.
-
I'm not a big pvp person and have considered boosting (jolly holiday under 20% still) but haven't done it yet because it feels like cheating However as far as I can tell they haven't really done anything to stop people, custom lobbies may be the best route and I'm sure will happen eventually but all they have to do is not allow quest progress in rumble while in a fire team, until something like that happens I say boost on
-
You can get two fire teams of 3 and 2. Launch at the same time to get in the same match if not then back out. Best to use Skype or something. But then you give the random 6th player the free win instead
-
Rumble playlist with fireteams allowed and one for solo players only? Idk, it's kind of difficult since they don't have private matches. Right now it seems like the best option is to not allow fireteams, but that would ruin the fun for some people, so I don't think it should be implemented
-
You should get half the score (or experience) from killing members of your fireteam.
-
Every other fps that I've ever played doesn't allow you to be in a fireteam in a ffa type game mode. Anybody remember Cage Match from cod4? It's straight up a 1v1 game mode. The boosting that occurred was horrendous, and thus it will never be seen again And then, they add the tactical insertion to mw2. Oh, you get to spawn in the exact spot you placed it? Well, shoot, what are you going to do if a buddy joins your ffa match? Yeah. I get that it's cool and all to be able to play against your friends, since you can't exactly do that on regular crucible. The extremely small amount of rumble I played for the quest had nobody boosting, but that's probably because I backed out if it showed a party on the roster while I'm in orbit searching for players.
