It's better in a lot of ways. First, you don't xurn it. Second, it can cause DoT when upgraded. Finally, it has a better noise. (animation on tlw is better though) I'm ready for the hate.
Edit:bought tlw, and it's impressive.

I'd make argument that "Xurn" is earning it. Where when you completely random drops a guy with 100+ kills could shat on where as a guy with 2 kills gets a Ghorn. Where as if you do the weeklys every week then you know you're getting strange coins and the more you do it the more coins you get. So in my opinion you actually earn it. So don't be butthurt you big baby
