I already have. 'Then why are you here?', you all may ask in your ever-so-subtle way. Well I'll tell you with some words. I haven't played Destiny for a few weeks now and haven't missed it one bit because I've been playing a far superior game that would simply laugh at Destiny if they were ever sentient beings capable of meeting up and comparing themselves to eachother. A friend and avid player of Destiny (still) has been keeping me updated now and then with how the news of the HoW DLC is trickling through. This is because I wanted to come back when it's released. So I decided I'd pop back onto the forum and the Bungie site to check out the gossip. What a huge surprise - a shock to the system you might say - all I found was disappointment and evidence of my naivity. Talk of no new raid and a survival mode instead? Not both? I'll never be back into Destiny, come on CombatNun13, you knew this all along surely. And before anyone says 'why not give the new mode a chance', let me tell you how it will work: Tuesday - you jump in and defend against 7 (yes 7, Bungie's fave number) waves, each increasing in dif..........yawn, how boring and unoriginal. You'll complete it and with any luck there will have been a raid boss (yeh, there will be) at the end of wave 7 and he'll have dropped you a shader, a pair of boots and an auto rifle. That's it until next Tuesday. You'll do it all again in the exact same way and you'll get another auto rifle and maybe a Red Death or Universal Remote. Yey. Meanwhile I will be playing a game with proper raid bosses, tough enemies, interesting characters and weapons and a really good loot system - a game which outshines Destiny in almost every area. Enjoy the DLC everyone who stays. I mean that, you all deserve it for sticking by this game and there are plenty of good gamers and people amongst you all. See yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I'm off now to go and drop a few weapons I've never had before and kill a few interesting enemies to progress an interesting story.
