How many of you have soloed Crota?
So this week the Gjallarhorn finally dropped for me, after more than 500 hours, so I gave it a try, because I was having a bad time downing Crotas shield with hunger of crota and granades.
It was harder than I thought, so many problems like Crota not going down or the swordbearer going away, and although I only had to down him twice it has taken me more than 20 tries
I ended up using a titan due to my holy ruin wings, saving me a lot of time
How was your experience in a 1vs1 against Crota??

Ive only soloed it once. Crota is a bitch and if you arent fast enough he will run around too much. Also its good to have ghally on hand for him. The only other difficult part of the raid solo is the deathsinger. Sometimes those witches just dont want to cooperate.

1 ReplyDid it first with my warlock. Had him to the last down and rockets did t do the trick. I went in and he killed me. So I self revived and shot two more rockets and finished him!!

Took me about two and a half hours to get everything down consistently but finally got it done!!

1 Replyi have got my ghorn last weeks reset and started practicing immediatly (leveled it in 1 day lol). I got flawless raider soloing crota last week. The strat i use on crota is to use swordbreaker and immediatly rush to the box in front of where the swordknight spawns. Jump on top of the box and throw a nade and blast him with shotgun. I went up to the right rock, shot two ghorns and immediatly after the second rocket is fired pick up sword and run up to crota (pray to the lords wolfpack rounds dont glitch out). Then get 3 or if you feel lucky 4 hits and go back to the right rock. Drop sword and reload ghorn. Down him again and try to get another 3 or 4 hits in. If you repeat this process after crota has rotated back to middle you can kill before ogres, On my flawless run wolfpack rounds glitched out once so i had to do ogres, i switched to black hammer and hide behind the left big pillar at the stairs, kill the right ogre asap and then the left ogre. That was my strat, i preferred using swordbreaker over th BH because you dont really have to worry about swordbearer hiding behind rocks.
