Wouldn't say either is overpowered,just better in different situations/areas and play types/styles. Not to mention PvE vs PvP Currently I find myself using a shotgun more in PvE (where I prefer to play) because now they seem like the actually cause the correct damage for how close you need to be with them; don't get me wrong it's brutal but there are still times I prefer a fusion. Same goes for what little pvp I play (bounties mostly). My real problem is the absurd nerf the autos received on last update; because now (in most situations) it feels like they can't stand up to either.
