Shotguns, Shotguns, MORE SHOTGUNS!
What is with the Crucible and literally EVERYONE using shotguns as their main weapon on small maps? I get it. Small maps are perfect for shotgun use. But have EVERYONE in the lobby using them, one team that actually plays well, the other not so much, THE LATTER ALWAYS WIN!
Just started playing the Iron Banner for the first time. The experience today has left me without any words. I don't care about K/D or if we win or lose. I'd like to actually have a chance to SHOOT SOMEONE! Every step I took I got shot by those weapons from hell! That weapon is the reason I quit playing Crucible. Now it's the same for Iron Banner. I can't play with the majority of players who use just ONE SINGLE WEAPON!
IF YOU HAVE EARS BUNGIE:
-Bring the huge maps back in the map cycle. (I HATE WAITING EVERY OTHER WEEKEND TO PLAY COMBINED ARMS!)
-If you it's IMPOSSIBLE, then maybe KEEP Combined Arms as a set playlist. This will keep me playing the Crucible.
-I have met many gamers and they all agree that the shotguns are getting out of hand. MIX IT UP ALREADY! NO MORE SHOTGUNS ON SMALL MAPS!
I love using my ARs and Pulse Rifles, but is impossible to do so! Nerf the shotguns or BUFF the hell out of ARs again. I'm done playing Crucible until then. No point in dying left and right each game without any set kills.

You people don't understand that it's not that bad.... There are millions of ways to counter shotguns. Before the PVE buff, shotguns were MEANT for crucible. Bungie just wanted them to be a versatile weapon with the PVE buff. Stop crying and learn how to counter them

It only stands to reason that most Destiny players are going to be using hand cannons and shotties as they are across the board better than pretty much everything else.

13 RepliesEasy fix, spawn special ammo chests just like heavy. Give shotguns, snipers, and fusions 6 bullets. That will fix the spam, it's called special ammo and special weapons for a reason. There is absolutely no reason why someone should be able to run all game long using a shotgun.

It's funny because there is always a sniper rifle in my secondary slot but I'm nearly always using universal remote with it

*yawn* If you play with any regard for your guardians' life, this shouldn't be an issue. If you're getting killed by shotguns, stop running blindly into rooms. There is an absurdly OP radar that every player has. Use it.

Then I learned to stop running, keep distance and outshoot any shotgun coming at me. Now my rolling K/D is about 1.8+ and growing and my overall game K/D is finally over 1 again. Improve your playing style. Plus, I got me a Felwinter and rolled it with Aggressive Ballistics/Luck In The Chamber/Hammer Forged/Shot Package. So now I just outshoot them if I need to ;)

Everyone with some form of competitive edge jumped ship so left are those whose only chance of getting a kill is to trade - and the easiest way of doing that is to constantly charge people with a shotty. They're idiots. Don't trust me? Watch a stream, you have these idiots charging at eachother from 50 yards just to meet in a shotgun duel.

No they don't need to bring huge maps back. Those aren't ideal for everyone. What they should do is nerf the shotguns so it'll make everyone use skill by using the other weapons and not just being able to run around like a chicken without their heads and use no skill to one shotgun someone.

Lmao I still have this question for myself. I am not good with shotguns. I am a fusion rifle user but I get killed to death by shotguns. Maybe one day I'll get the hang of them

Please no large maps. The action is so sparse... They need to reduce the ammo for shotguns (and secondary weapons as a whole) to similar to heavy weapons. Just a couple drops throughout the game... Forcing people to use primary more often
