Alright Bungie, here it is. After this post I promise to curse you no longer. I have given up being mad at you when other players who been playing less than a month get gear I've been grinding for since launch. I understand the system is random and respect it (though I still feel new players are being rewarded with loot and old launch day players tossed into the wind). I have come to cherish the memory of the loot cave abd the Easter egg you left in it's rememberance when the loot system was beyond horrible. I no longer scream at the cryptarch for spitting useless materials in my face. I've even accepted the fact that you went to the Dark side and sold out to PS4 (however after I found out how Microsoft mistreated you as a developer and mis-handled the Halo franchise worse then FoX handled Family Guy or Star Wars I was much less upset. In fact, I offer my condolences. I will happily wait one year for PS4 "exclusive content." I've learned to accept the "Nascaresque" open world you provided, the lack of a campaign at all, the ending that made Mass Effect 3 look like a masterpiece, that bastard Master Cryptarch, the "nostalgia" of being a launch day member, the horrible drop in/drop out multiplayer issues, the overbearingly repetitive missions, and a whole list of other widely known and I'm sure well known issues but I keep playing because I LOVE the idea of space, and the concepts your game inspired in us. In that opening moments of your game I stood (or sat rather) for near 40 hours straight through in defiance of the Darkness, the great evil opponent I would soon crush with my Gaurdian and my allies at my side. Your Game awoke in many of us that childhood memory of being a great astronaut, exploring and conquering not on behave of a nation but a unified civilization fighting tooth and nail to their dying breath. I love this game for all it's short comings, and I will continue to "rage, rage against the dying of the light." And amongst all this my biggest complaint is small maybe even unnoticed by most but of all the things un-holy to me as a gamer is that in the 21st century I am forced to use aim assistance. Not being a part of the original design team nor a programmer, I don't know if giving players the option to toggle this on and off would be my only wish for the near future.
