As of yesterday I've started getting this constant error message whenever I try to download the most recent update. I'll log in, the downloading screen appears, and then it just sits there for a few minutes, not making any progress, before it tells me it can't download the update. I've tried uninstalling Destiny (I haven't even been able to reinstall it fully because of this damn issue), I've cleared my system cache twice, and I've rebooted my router three times now and it STILL won't make any progress. Does anybody have any advice?

Edited by deltafive5: 3/12/2015 11:16:07 PMI have a similar situation to you. Tried to logon to Destiny via 360 for the first time in months, so naturally I have updates waiting for me. None of them will download, code Oyster. I have looked at port forwarding, open NAT, wired connection, re-install game, all is FUBAR. I can play other 360 games no problem, but Destiny is walling me off.

I am sorry you are having this issue. Most likely your console is having a difficult time connecting to the Destiny servers. This article may have some answers as to how to improve your connection. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11930

Edited by ChorrizoTapatio: 3/11/2015 9:14:56 PMHere's what I found about the error code (link is above):
This error occurs when content patches or updates fail to download. There are two possible fixes for this error: Power cycle your router Secure a wired connection when downloading updates If either of these solutions do not work, please try deleting then re-installing Destiny to your console. Because this likely indicates we've made a change to the download offering on the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store, please watch help.bungie.net or follow @BungieHelp on Twitter for more information on download availability.
I also see you've tried the steps provided, so let me get some backup for you.
