"That Certain Something"
When you're playing a game and it just [i]feels right[/i]. It feels fresh and fun, and like you're enjoying a true, quality gaming experience. [b][i]Star Wars: Battlefront[/i][/b] and [b][i]Halo: Combat Evolved[/i][/b] are two common examples of games that give off this vibe.
What games do you feel have that [i]certain something[/i]? And more importantly, what do you think it is that creates that feeling?

4 RepliesI feel like I am in the minority of the minority when it comes to Halo CE. I flat out do not like the game. Singleplayer, or multiplayer. But I'll talk about MP here. The spawns in Halo CE (for MCC) are without a doubt, above and beyond, the WORST I have ever encountered in a video game before. Watching one or more enemy players spawn 10 feet in front of me is horrifying, and turns me off the game. It feels like there is a delay when I press the jump button, and when I actually jump. The hit detection is inconsistent. People are ice skating around the map. Grenades are nukes. For all the praise Halo 1 gets as the "best Halo MP", I sure as shit do not see it. I'll play the game if it comes up in a playlist, but I will never touch the Halo CE playlist.
