Title for reference. Do you care if someone mutes you?
I was just thinking about this. I don't, I mean not really.. but it would be interesting to see who has muted you as the forums get a bit older.
-
I really wouldn't care.
-
Is there even a way for the muted user to know if they've been muted? If not, then I can go on with life pretending I've never been muted by anyone.
-
I wouldn't care at all.
-
That person just can not handle the truth.
-
I wouldnt really care, but if someone is trying to read a coversation between me and another user it would probably be a little confusing.
-
I don't really plan on muting anyone. Because even the most annoying person on B.net can say something worthwhile occasionally. But yeah, I'd care a little bit.
-
Not really. I mean, I'd probably care in the sense that I'd like to know why, but that's about it.
-
Don't care. If I see 1 post about My Little Pony I'm muting that person instantly.
-
Freedom of Speech is not a "guarantee of an audience". Unfortunately, we also know what can and will draw an audience. Not all of it is good.
-
it's their problem if they don't want to read my wisdom, not mine :P
-
How would I even know?
-
do you even know?
-
Nope, if they muted me they must have found me annoying, I'm not going to loose any sleep over it.
-
I wouldn't really care, but I do think the mute button should only be used on trolls. Not because somebody is butthurt about an opinion.
-
I probably wouldn't notice.
-
Depends entirely on who that 'someone' is.
-
I don't do anything that would urge someone to mute me, so I don't really have an answer. If someone did mute me, I'd want to know precisely why, though.
-
I take it as they weren't mature enough to handle a simple opinion.
-
I don't even know when I've been muted, so no. Ignorance is bliss.
