Just Wondering what you Guys/Girls think about this topic
Mine would be Pocket Infinity
Thanks for the feedback everyone

People who think it takes a long time to level Thorn are smoking some strong shit Try leveling Magikarp for at least 20 levels and you'll see why
-
Thorn used to be a lot harder before the dlc especially if you weren't a raider and didn't have atheon epilogue and praedyths revenge. Plus everyone's lvl 32 now. Back when I did it I was 28 or 29, can't remember.

What's so hard about the Thorn bounty? I've done it at least 3 times; it's not easy but surely not a task you will never achieve

Edited by blades of honor: 3/3/2015 2:13:32 AMHardest~Thorn Complete The Summoning Pits on the Moon. Earn 500 points by killing Hive enemies on the Moon. A normal enemy is worth 1 point, a Major is worth 20, and an Ultra is worth 50. Use Void Damage to defeat Guardians in the Crucible. Death will slow your progress. Requires 500 points. 5 points are gained per kill, 2 lost per death (meaning that progress is made as long as the average ratio of void kills to deaths is sustained above 0.4). Kills must be made with a weapon or skill that does Void damage. Assists do not count. Obtain an Infusion of Light from The Speaker. This will cost one Mote of Light. Talk to Ikora Rey. Kill Xyor, the Unwed.Xyor is found in a level 26 version of The Summoning Pits that is only available while this phase of the bounty is active. The Epic modifier is enabled, and matchmaking is not used. Phogoth must be damaged enough to trigger waves of enemies but not killed until Xyor appears. She is included in the enemies dropped by the third Tombship. Longest~Bad juju Complete a weekly Heroic or Nightfall Strike to obtain Toland's Journal [Fragmented]. Bring the journal to Ikora Rey to obtain Toland's Journal [Fragmented]. Complete 25 additional strikes to obtain Toland's Journal [Encrypted]. Completing the Weekly Nightfall Strike will count as 3 strikes, and the Weekly Heroic Strike counts as 2. Bring the journal to Ikora Rey to obtain Toland's Journal [Decrypted]. Bring the journal to the Gunsmith to obtain Black Market Coupon. Bring the coupon to Xûr to obtain a Darkness-infused Weapon Frame. This will cost 1 Strange Coin. Bring the weapon frame to the Gunsmith to obtain Darkness-infused Pulse Rifle. Earn 10,000 points in the Crucible to obtain Sated Pulse Rifle. A Titan or Hunter kill or assist is worth 25 points, and a Warlock kill or assist is worth 75 Points. Return the weapon to the Gunsmith to finally obtain Bad Juju. Pocket Infinity can be long but if you have the rare fusions on hand, its a breeze. Easiest & quickest is super good advice, always grab the bounty when it comes up(for the shard). Idk why anyone voted for this lol. Find A Mournful Gun (or A Recalcitrant Gun) by opening loot caches on Mars. Bring the frame to the Gunsmith to obtain A Pleased Machine Gun frame (or A Mournful Gun). Buy an ammunition module from Xûr for one Strange Coin to obtain A Recalcitrant Gun (or A Pleased Machine Gun). Kill 500 enemies with a Machine Gun to obtain An Enthusiastic Gun. Kills give 1 point, headshots and sprees give 3 points. Kills with rocket launchers remove 5 points. Bring the frame to the Gunsmith to obtain Super Good Advice.

You are asking 2 different questions. Hardest: thorn. By far. Longest: bad juju. 25 Damn strikes plus the possibility of waiting on Xur. Depending on your luck with rare fusion rifles, It can take longer than bad juju, but that can vary greatly. I actually had like 6 or 7 saved up by the time I got the bounty so I got it done in like a day.
-
thorn is definitely the most challenging. I got it done pretty easy as a warlock though. bad juju took forever mainly because of the amount of strike grinding. I have fusion rifles saved up for pocket infinity but I'm starting to stray from FRs so at this point they're just taking up vault space
-
If you think the thorn bounty was hard, you're horrible at this game. Pocket infinity bounty is the most time consuming no doubt but most of you losers haven't even acquired this bounty yet
-
Here is my problem. They make yo jump. Through so many hoops for these damn things and they are not even the best weapons in their respective category. Hell most are not special in anyway except you worked your ass off for them...so wtf bungie make these weapons mean something...
-
Pocket infinity, -blam!-ing fusion rifles
-
Your mom.
-
Wow thorn? Really? Thats crazy i thought the 25 strikes was just annoying
-
Lol at 66% for thorn. Guess y'all have never done the pocket Infiniti.
-
Bad juju because 25 strikes took me about 3-4 weeks and thorn took me about 3 days
-
I have Super Good Advice. It was easy to do that bounty. I did it in two hours.
-
Finished thorn bounty in 1 day... Secret is to play rumble with a void shotgun or primary preferably... Because theres half the amount if enemies... No kill assists... All free game... And smaller maps= more kills just go positive each game and youre set
-
Whoever chose Super Good Advice needs to stop playing this game.
-
If my experience is anything then to hell with PI bounty. 20+ exotic bounties and I have never gotten that one. Most time consuming one was the Bad JuJu though.
-
Thorn took 4 hours. Pocket infinity took 4 weeks
-
Bad JuJu, I feel, is the most time consuming. Haven't gotten to the NF kills with a Fusion Rifle but I but that's also annoying depending on the NF at the time.
-
Thorn I did in 5 crucible matches, 25 strikes for bad juju is so much longer
-
Thorn took me 2h 30minutes to complete it
-
Pocket infinity seems to me, much harder than the thorn bounty. Getting the rare+ fusions to break down can be tedious if you don't get to buy them from the gun smith. And killing 200 enemies in nightfall with a fusion rifle van just be plain annoying.
-
Thorn and bad juju are the most challenging for most people, due to the way they work. But really, it all depends on what else you have. I have done all of the bounties except thorn at least three times, and thorn only once, but I have discarded it the most as well. I even have it again, lol. Invective is expensive, so if you don't have glimmer banked, it can take a while. Pocket infinity can be pricey or just depend ( right now I am just letting them come when they come). Each suits a style of play. I like thorn more in pve than Pvp, but I have a hard time getting past old training.
-
I had been buying rare fusion rifles for when I got the pocket infinity bounty. Bad juju took me the longest.
-
I've deleted the thorn bounty like 4 times. I can't force myself into pvp
-
Necrochaism - shit ton of work and luck required and its comes with an unsatisfying ending.
